Arthur
Firstenberg is the founder and president of the Cellular Phone Task
Force and the author of Microwaving Our Planet: The Environmental Impact
of the Wireless Revolution (Cellular Phone Task Force 1996). From 1997
to 2002, he was the editor of the journal No Place To Hide.
Since
1996, the Task Force has provided a global clearinghouse for
information about wireless technology’s injurious effects, and a
national support network for people disabled by this technology. In 1997
the Task Force was the lead litigant in a challenge brought by over 50
citizens groups against the FCC’s limits for human exposure to radio
frequency radiation.
