To: European Commission

From: Citizens of the world opposed to space-based wireless radiation deployments on the basis of hazards posed to human health and the environment

We the undersigned are knowledgeable about the health and safety effects of electromagnetic fields and microwave radiation. We bring to your attention that Google Inc. has applied for an experimental license from the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to implement an internet/communication wireless network of balloons called “Project Loon”, over the United States beginning on January 1, 2016. Project Loon is already operating on an experimental basis in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, United States and other locations. Google states that it plans through Project Loon to deploy a global wireless communications network to both the developed world and the most remote parts of the Earth. The FCC and other U.S. Government agencies have a pending application by Google to begin Project Loon “experimentation” on an expedited basis. However, such approval has prevented the level of scrutiny, public notice and review that a proposal of this size and scope warrants. This expedited process may have subverted critical analyses required to ensure that environmental protection and aviation safety standards are met.

We know that millions of people in the developed world have already become functionally disabled, due to the electromagnetically polluted environments produced by terrestrially based wireless communication infrastructures.

Many persons have been forced to flee their homes and jobs, experiencing great difficulties finding a safe and sustainable place to live. Some have sought refuge in remote areas where wireless internet is spotty or nonexistent.

With the deployment of Project Loon and other space-based wireless communications projects proposed or underway, and the Project’s widespread deployment of microwave radiation, such persons will have no place to go.

In May 2015, a large group of international scientists, each of whom had published peer-reviewed research on the biological and health effects of electromagnetic fields (EMF) from extremely low frequencies through microwave radiation, appealed to the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the U.N. Environmental Programme to institute precautionary measures and to revise international EMF exposure guidelines that are obsolete and inadequate. Presently, 218 scientists in 40 nations have signed The International EMF Scientist Appeal, which states: “Numerous recent scientific publications have shown that EMF affects living organisms at levels well below most international and national guidelines. Effects include increased cancer risk, cellular stress, increase in harmful free radicals, genetic damages, structural and functional changes of the reproductive system, learning and memory deficits, neurological disorders, and negative impacts on general well-being in humans. Damage goes well beyond the human race, as there is growing evidence of harmful effects to both plant and animal life.”

The Brussels International Scientific Declaration on Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, released in 2015, builds on several prior resolutions calling for greater protection to prevent what may become “a major public health concern in years to come worldwide, i.e. in all the countries implementing unrestricted use of electromagnetic field-based wireless technologies...”

Given the compelling scientific evidence demonstrating harm from the proliferation of terrestrial wireless communication infrastructure and devices; and given the emerging human rights, public health and environmental crises there from, we find the deployment of space-based wireless communications hazardous on the largest scale, and hereby call attention to the biological plausibility that such deployments will increase rates of global species decline and extinction.

We therefore urge the European Commission to heed our warning, and, recalling Resolution N°1815 of the Parliamentary Assembly, Council of Europe, adopted May 27, 2011, The potential dangers of electromagnetic fields and their effect on the environment, to enact and promote precautionary measures that productively address this urgent matter. We specifically urge the EC to advise EU member states to defer proposed business agreements to participate in space-based wireless communication deployments.

Signed,

INTERNATIONAL COALITION OBJECTS TO GOOGLE’S ‘PROJECT LOON’

INTERNATIONAL COALITION OBJECTS TO GOOGLE’S ‘PROJECT LOON’

Bloomberg BNA News, Alexis Kramer, Jan 8, 2016

Google Inc.’s plan to deliver global WiFi access through Project Loon—a network of balloons floating in the stratosphere designed to connect people in remote areas and fill gaps in coverage—has sparked controversy.

The Global Union Against Radiation Deployment from Space (GUARDS), an international coalition against global WiFi from space, has objected to Google’s plan.

GUARDS argued, in a recent filing to the Federal Communications Commission, that the proposed project violates several international treaties, including the UN Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Google applied for an experimental radio service license that would allegedly cover 88.6 to 99.6 percent of the land area of the continental U.S. with radiofrequency (RF) electromagnetic radiation.

Exposure to RF radiation—in the wavelengths that Google proposes to use in providing global WiFi—can cause serious biological effects that can lead to increased risks of cancer, GUARDS said Dec. 17 in its informal objection.

GUARDS added that countries are responsible for acting in the best interest of their children and should not force them to be exposed to this radiation.

A number of countries, including Sweden and France, recognize electromagnetic hypersensitivity syndrome (EHS) as a disability triggered by exposure to electromagnetic fields.  The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes EHS as a condition whose symptoms (e.g., fatigue, difficulty in concentrating, dizziness, nausea) can be debilitating.

In the U.S., the parents of a 12-year-old child filed Dec. 8 an amended complaint in a Massachusetts federal district court, claiming that a private school violated the Americans with Disabilities Act by failing to make changes to its allegedly high-density WiFi system to accommodate their son’s EHS “disability.”

People with EHS allegedly may not be able to escape the electromagnetic fields if WiFi is blanketing the earth.  We’ll keep watch and let you know any updates on GUARD’s efforts to stop Project Loon.

Italian town shuts down Wi-Fi over health fears

Italian town shuts down Wi-Fi over health fears

The Local, Jan 8, 2016

The mayor of Borgofranco d'Ivrea, a town in Piedmont, has ordered Wi-Fi to be turned off in two schools over health fears.

Mayor Livio Tola told the town's high school and elementary school to return to using cables to connect to the internet after reading that the electromagnetic waves given off by wireless routers were especially harmful to young children.

“It's not that we're against technology, our choice is merely a precautionary measure,” La Stampa reported the mayor as saying.

“We cannot say with certainty if these electromagnetic waves are dangerous for children or not,” he added, acknowledging that there was still a lack of scientific consensus on the issue.

The World Health Organization has recognized the "anxiety and speculation" surrounding electromagnetic field exposure, but is still investigating its possible health effects.

But some studies have suggested that electromagnetic radiation given off by wireless routers can affect the development of cells in young children, enough to convince Tola to shut Wi-Fi off in the two schools in the town of 3,800 inhabitants.

“Who knows? In 20 years' time some people might thank us for it,” the mayor added.

But the controversial decision prompted a backlash from councillors and some parents, who argue that even if wireless signals prove to be harmful, the measure will do little to protect the town's children.

They also argue that it prevents wireless devices, such as tablets, being used in classes as educational tools.

Ex-mayor Fausto Francisca slammed the decision as short-sighted, explaining that the town's children are already exposed to electromagnetic waves from a myriad of different sources each day, such as their mobile phones and Wi-Fi connections at home.

“What's the point? We already have Wi-Fi in two of the town's squares and in our library, places where children also spend a lot of time,” Francisca said.

Effects of Electromagnetic Radiation from Smartphones on Learning Ability and Hippocampal Progenitor Cell Proliferation in Mice

Effects of Electromagnetic Radiation from Smartphones on Learning Ability and Hippocampal Progenitor Cell Proliferation in Mice

Yu-Jin Choi, Yun-Sik Choi. Effects of Electromagnetic Radiation from Smartphones on Learning Ability and Hippocampal Progenitor Cell Proliferation in Mice. Osong Public Health and Research Perspectives. Available online 23 December 2015.

Abstract

Objectives

Nonionizing radiation is emitted from electronic devices, such as smartphones. In this study, we intended to elucidate the effect of electromagnetic radiation from smartphones on spatial working memory and progenitor cell proliferation in the hippocampus.

Methods

Both male and female mice were randomly separated into two groups (radiated and control) and the radiated group was exposed to electromagnetic radiation for 9 weeks and 11 weeks for male and female mice, respectively. Spatial working memory was examined with a Y maze, and proliferation of hippocampal progenitor cells were examined by 5-bromo-2′-deoxyuridine administration and immunohistochemical detection.

Results

When spatial working memory on a Y maze was examined in the 9th week, there was no significant difference in the spontaneous alternation score on the Y maze between the two groups. In addition, there was no significant difference in hippocampal progenitor cell proliferation. However, immunoreactivity to glial fibrillary acidic protein was increased in exposed animals. Next, to test the effect of recovery following chronic radiation exposure, the remaining female mice were further exposed to electromagnetic radiation for 2 more weeks (total 11 wk), and spontaneous alternation was tested 4 weeks later. In this experiment, although there was no significant difference in the spontaneous alternation scores, the number of arm entry was significantly increased.

Conclusion

These data indicate that although chronic electromagnetic radiation does not affect spatial working memory and hippocampal progenitor cell proliferation it can mediate astrocyte activation in the hippocampus and delayed hyperactivity-like behavior.
The abstract does not appear in PubMed.
Excerpts

Mice were divided into two groups: animals from the exposed group were housed in a cage that was placed on the smartphone (Galaxy K, Samsung Electronics, South Korea) and it was maintained on operating mode throughout the study. To imitate the condition of daily smartphone use in life, we called and let mice hear the sound from the smartphone for 10 minutes a day. In the control group, animals were housed under normal conditions without electromagnetic radiation exposure. Mice were exposed to electromagnetic radiation for 9 weeks, and spontaneous alternation was tested. To verify the effect of recovery following electromagnetic radiation exposure, female mice were further exposed to electromagnetic radiation for 2 more weeks. After the smartphone was removed, female mice were housed under normal conditions for 4 weeks to provide a recovery period, and spontaneous alternation was tested (Figure 1).
In our study, there was no significant difference in progenitor cell proliferation in the hippocampus and in spatial working memory. However, some reports indicate that electromagnetic radiation influences progenitor cell proliferation and/or spatial working memory [14,15]. The reason for the discord is unknown, although it is worth noting that we provided exposure to electromagnetic radiation for a relatively long term.
... we exposed electromagnetic radiation to female mice for 11 weeks and provided a recovery period under normal housing condition for
4 weeks. To our surprise, although the percentage of spontaneous alternation was not affected, the number of arm entries was significantly increased by providing a recovery for 4 weeks following an 11-week-long period of exposure to a radiation field. These data further support the previous evidence showing that exposure to electromagnetic radiation may be able to induce delayed hyperactivity-like behavior.

Interestingly, recent data indicate that although electromagnetic fields influence learning and memory in rodents, the animals can adapt to long-term exposure [16]. In addition, long-term whole-body exposure to an electromagnetic field from a mobile phone does not cause any adverse effects on memory function and development [17]. Therefore, it is tempting to hypothesize that our nervous system can adapt to long-term exposure to electromagnetic radiation from smartphones. However, we cannot exclude the possibility that acute whole-body exposure to electromagnetic radiation changes working memory and/or hippocampal progenitor cell proliferation. Further study will be needed to elucidate this hypothesis.
In summary, we provided herein further solid evidence supporting the hypothesis that chronic exposure to electromagnetic radiation may induce delayed hyperactivity-like behavior without affecting spatial working memory and hippocampal progenitor cell proliferation.

Controversies related to electromagnetic field exposure on peripheral nerves

Controversies related to electromagnetic field exposure on peripheral nerves

Say F, Altunkaynak BZ, Coşkun S, Deniz ÖG, Yıldız Ç, Altun G, Kaplan AA, Kaya SE, Pişkin A. Controversies related to electromagnetic field exposure on peripheral nerves. J Chem Neuroanat. 2015 Dec 21. pii: S0891-0618(15)00104-0. doi: 10.1016/j.jchemneu.2015.12.008. [Epub ahead of print]

Abstract

Electromagnetic field (EMF) is a pervasive environmental presence in modern society. In recent years, mobile phone usage has increased rapidly throughout the world. As mobile phones are generally held close to the head while talking, studies have mostly focused on the central and peripheral nervous system. There is a need for further research to ascertain the real effect of EMF exposure on the nervous system. Several studies have clearly demonstrated that EMF emitted by cell phones could affect the systems of the body as well as functions. However, the adverse effects of EMF emitted by mobile phones on the peripheral nerves are still controversial. Therefore, this review summarizes current knowledge on the possible positive or negative effects of electromagnetic field on peripheral nerves.

http://1.usa.gov/1kQria6

Conclusion

Experimental and clinical studies have demonstrated that EMF can have profound effects on peripheral nerves. Furthermore, the effects of EMF on the peripheral nerve system are more complicated. In addition, PEMF may have positive effects on peripheral nerve regeneration. However, controlled, double blinded and randomized studies are required for further assessment of optimal magnetic field conditions and the average duration of effects.

Exposure to non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation from mobile telephony and the association with psychiatric symptoms

Exposure to non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation from mobile telephony and the association with psychiatric symptoms

[Article in English, Portuguese]

Silva DF, Barros WR, Almeida MD, Rêgo MA. Exposure to non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation from mobile telephony and the association with psychiatric symptoms. Cad Saude Publica. 2015 Oct;31(10):2110-2126.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the association between exposure to non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation from mobile phone base stations and psychiatric symptoms.

In a cross-sectional study in Salvador, Bahia State, Brazil, 440 individuals were interviewed. Psychiatric complaints and diagnoses were the dependent variables and distance from the individual's residence to the base station was considered the main independent variable. Hierarchical logistic regression analysis was conducted to assess confounding.

An association was observed between psychiatric symptoms and residential proximity to the base station and different forms of mobile phone use (making calls with weak signal coverage, keeping the mobile phone close to the body, having two or more chips, and never turning off the phone while sleeping), and with the use of other electronic devices.

The study concluded that exposure to electromagnetic radiation from mobile phone base stations and other electronic devices was associated with psychiatric symptoms, independently of gender, schooling, and smoking status. The adoption of precautionary measures to reduce such exposure is recommended.

Global Union Against Radiation Deployment from Space (GUARDS)

Global Union Against Radiation Deployment from Space (GUARDS)

GUARDS is an international coalition against global WiFi from space, a complex technology of radiation and toxic chemicals endangering all life on Earth

www.stopglobalwifi.org

Take Action: Don't let corporate greed wreck your family's health!

Technologists and technology corporations are pushing to saturate your home, community, and car with radiation from "wireless" technology-in complete disregard of the known health hazards.
Radiation emitted by wireless technology (such as from mobile phones and WiFi) is known to cause a variety of symptoms - including headache, sleepiness, cognitive impairment, fatigue, depression, anxiety, facial flushing, skin rash, asthma, cardiac arrhythmia, easy bruising, infertility, insomnia, neurological disease and cancers (breast, lung, brain, lymphoma, leukemia, melanoma, and others).
Numerous telecom and technology corporations are planning to blanket the globe with the body-penetrating radiofrequency (RF) and microwave (MW) radiation utilized by wireless technology in order to rake in more profit by ensuring that you can watch cat videos from anywhere on the planet. Eight companies are planning to launch more than 11,000 satellites for global WiFi coverage.
Projects to launch and periodically replace thousands of satellites to blanket the earth with radiation to provide worldwide Internet would also destroy ozone and worsen climate change due to the rocket emissions of black soot from so many rockets. Combined with the detrimental environmental effects RF radiation has on both flora and fauna, including bees, these global wireless projects are predicted to lead to environmental devastation and even widespread starvation.
Telecom/technology companies have been scheming for years to make money off a technology that, while perceived as "cool" (Who doesn't want to have a Star Trek communicator?), is actually extremely unsafe in the real world.
Here is some history you may not be aware of. In 1993, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) wrote a scathing criticism of the Federal Communication Commission's (FCC's) proposed RF/MW radiation limits. In June 1995, the EPA announced to the FCC that it would be releasing its own RF/MW radiation safety limits in early 1996. An internal EPA memorandum regarding a meeting with the FCC and the NTIA makes it clear that the EPA was also initiating a process to develop initial regulations pertaining to chronic RF/MW radiation exposures and non-thermal RF/MW radiation effects within a two-year time frame. Obviously, this was viewed as a threat to telecom and technology industries, because on September 13, 1995 the EPA Radiation Division that drafted the regulations to protect the public from harmful EMF (electromagnetic fields, including RF/MW) radiation exposure was de-funded by the Senate Appropriations Committee, which also wrote, "The Committee believes EPA should not engage in EMF activities".
In 1996, Telecom industry lobbyists succeeded in getting The 1996 Telecommunications Act passed. This Act prohibited states, municipalities, and citizens from objecting to the placement and construction of wireless communications facilities (antennas) for reasons of health or the environment and assigned the FCC to be the sole regulator of "safety" related to wireless RF/MW radiation-emitting technology.
Why was this done? Because vocal, educated citizens had been thwarting industry plans to irradiate every person and every thing with the RF/MW radiation utilized by wireless technology. These citizens showed planning and zoning committees the extensive literature documenting negative biological effects of exposure to RF/MW radiation, and the committees did their job and denied permits.
These corrupt moves by Congress in 1995 and 1996 have cost lives and jeopardize your family's health today!
The corruption continues. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences has yet to release the results of the completed toxicology study which assessed the cancer risk and some biological effects of wireless radiation in lab animals. According to Microwave News, "Pilot NTP experiments found that rats did respond to both GSM and CDMA cell phone radiation. Those exposed before and after birth gained weight more slowly. The exposure levels were higher than those normally associated with cell phones and Wi-Fi, but close enough to challenge the widely-held view that wireless radiation is harmless. Importantly, the observed effects were dose-dependent.Yet, these results have still not been released publicly, allowing the FCC to continue to promote dangerous wireless technology!
What can you do now?
1. Share this page with as many people and organizations as you can!
2. File an Informal Objection to plans by Google and SpaceX to irradiate the whole country.
3. Help address the root cause that allows all these dangerous projects to be proposed. Contact your Congress person and ask that they investigate:
  • Why has the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences not yet released the results of the completed wireless radiation toxicology study?
  • Why was the EPA Radiation Division working on EMF/RF/MW safety limits de-funded and stripped of regulatory authority?
  • Why has no one been able to obtain the draft regulations - not even through Freedom of Information Act requests?
Then demand that:
  • Congress again fund the EPA to establish and enforce EMF/RF/MW safety limits.
  • Congress place a moratorium on new wireless projects until the new limits are complete.
  • Congress repeal section 704 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 so that communities can once again protect the health of their residents.
Be sure to briefly share your story so your Congressperson understands the importance of this issue for you (and them). Followup with an email to the person you spoke with, so be sure to get their email address or use the web contact for your Congressperson. Use this template.

Gary Duncan…Take Back Your Power…where do we go from here

Gary Duncan…Take Back Your Power…where do we go from here

Josh del Sol…thank you again, as I have expressed often before, for the unique and powerful work you've done with Take Back Your Power.

This has been shown and talked about many times, serving as the focal point for many presentations in the Tabauache Corridor (Western Colorado, Eastern Utah) in both Smart Meter and Electromagnetic Health issues over the years.

During the past two years a definate and consistent decline in audience and interest in these showings has come to indicate time for changes.  Change is the only dependable constant in life.  We accept and accommodate it…or we die.

It may be that letting this become a part of our valued history as we move on to other venues of sanity is the advisable thing to do.

I'm not sure I agree with this.

The other opportunity this juncture may bring us…is to update, diversify and expand not only the content of your documentary, but also its accessibility.

Toward that end, as possibilities for courses to proceed in the future, I'm including what I can see as a 22 year researcher and advocate in these fields regionally and in connection with the International Research Community in Electrosentization.  I'll try making this brief.  Those who know me will laugh at the thought.

(1)  Audience response to the documentary as it exists is that it's good (given audiences with IQs exceeding their body temperatures and not dumbed down by the GE spin) but it's too long.  This I agree with, having viewed it several times.
Solution: Reissue a new edition of TBYP as a 4 part series, none of which exceeds 60 minutes in content (45 minutes is a highly competitive and effective limit, nothing needing to be lost given that there is now many times the space), but with added special features by subject on each of the 4 discs…allowing delving into specific selected issues in increasing depth by issue as the viewer/owner decides…this breaks the brick wall of sheer information content and the unfortunate but real audience information overload dilemma.

(2) Those who wish to show the documentary or distribute it immediatly encounter both a time/logistics access barrier and also one of cost under the present feed system.
Solution: Distribute the new 4 part edition without cost…acquiring funding in advance allowing free and non-barriered access….encourage everyone to give it away. Post it for streaming on the internet without charge.  The best in the field do this…we are also the ones who year by year stay in existence.  Those who do it for money do not.  I know from personal experience how apparently impossible this is in a capitalistic system and what passes here for reality.  However, this is illusion.  Capitalism is the cause of the problem we deal with here.  The workable solution will not be found within it.  Problems can never be solved on the levels on which they exist…mandating solutions on the next higher level at least.  20 years ago, with the Smart Shelter Network, I confronted this dilemma, working as a paid consultant part time thinking I had to while on the other hand I gave everything I could away under legitimate non-profit criterion.  In a fit of consequent disparity and broke, I made a completly irrational decision…I'll give everything away…i don't sell or charge for anything anymmore.  That's 20 years ago…i'm still giving it away…i have yet to miss a meal…and thousands of people have information they would never have afforded.  The universe takes care of us, right after we courageously step into doing what we know needs doing, without regard for profit or sustenance…its called trust and faith.  My experience in this realm…and at this point it is not insignificant…is that this is the only way it works.  This may also be the underlying cause of the current dilema threatening the continueation of TBYP…also needlessly.

(3) Despite all courageous and durable efforts, all the utility companies have rolled over the consumer, installed the Smart Meters, bashed the activists and now use this victory as assurance that they're right…along with the public…which is increasingly and rapidly deteriorating in health and psychology…again mindless and in denial of the cause.
Solution: The four part division of the work deals in the first documentary with the issues currently content as it exists…what they are, how to identify them, the hideous illegality and attitudes around their deployment…but pared down to just the rawest of sins…the public knows at this point, but some don't and the introduction needs to address this.  The second part may deal with the medical indicators of wireless radiation (not to forget the toxicity of AC itself…which is where this awareness began).   But people need solutions…they're defeated by too much statement of the problem…which is a regular complaint with the film the way it currently exists…beleaguering bashing of hope with more horrifying evidence, all without solution you can walk out of the theater and enact.  So the last two parts might deal with what people are doing after the deployment is effected depriving them of their rights and the EHS sets in.  This is what can turn the tide with TBYP…it becomes a focal tool for solutions and source of our hope.  By now, there are many many of us facing the bewilderment of loss…insistent that we cannot conscionably accept that…some having solutions possible for where to go from here…many not.  But in the activists I know, there is brilliance, durability and insistence on not being victims.  The value of the research you undertake from this point on can build on what you have already done…traveling everywhere, documenting incredibly well what the turely bouyant and informed/ethical spirit and community do with the debauchery and lies…let TBYP evolve into the resource pool to which we all contribute and from which we all get our inspiration.  It can, once the proper paradigm is erected, become a constantly growing and expanding living creature, instead of a one time film that died after it became obsolete.

(4) The film becomes didactic and boring focusing on victim mentality which is defeated by definition….I don't agree with all of this comment…i'm relaying it here because it consistently comes from the nay sayers in the audiences.  They are the ones we need to either change or eliminate…but how???
Solution: The new editions could focus not on conventional documentary style as a vehicle, but utilize art and humor.  Reading the work of Sun Tsu "Art of War"  I find that war is seldom won by the most powerful force, but by inferior armies possesed of cunning, espionage, intellect and strategy.  The two ingredients the corportocracy is defenseless again (mostly because as inferior beings they are incapable of developing) are aesthetics and humor.  We use weapons they can't and attack in ways against which their illusions of power are useless.  Nearly all of the Smart Shelter work in the past year or so has begun moving rapidly to these media…same message, same information…but taken into fiction, visualization, imagination, expression…and especially when its fun. Smart Meter song, Smart Meter Dances….Pete Seeger cleaned up the Hudson River with this and strawberry short cake.  He told me how.  Case in point this year was the Pagosa Springs wireless radiation "Smash"…poster below.  The idea was to stop lobying a corrupt and inept powercompany who already had the meters on the floor and the bill in accounting and tap on frustrated activists dreams of taking a sledge hammer to them.  We actually did this.  The employment hope of smashing more, music, dance, etc…pretty much fizzled as everyone only wanted to continue their incessant mantras of yak and "they're doing it to us" …but when the poster hit the internet, EHS activists everywhere hooted and wanted copies so they could do a "Smash" of their own.  Chosing games/ battles we can play and they can't, wars we can win and they can't.  If it isn't fun, we won't keep doing it…likely it won't work if it isn't.

It is very obvious to all I know fundamental to these causes that just because there is an illusion of temporary failure now, dangerously close to having many give up and prepare to fry…those like myself see very quickly…as I'm very sure you and many others do…that this is a war we cannont afford to lose.  We cannot afford to lose.  Not only that, we don't need to.

What we have all done, certainly your documentary well points out…is to pull the cover on a very despicable and decayed corportocracy…but now that we know its evil axis and intent…we have an obligation…to ourselves, those we care about, the biosphere and the future of life and the planet itself to now define and effect the revolution that will take us into The New World Order…just not exactly the one W and Dickey Boy had in mind.

Do this.  You won't be sorry.  We'll help.  But its got to be good.

Thank you for your work.

If this is the end for you, we will remember you with fond memories and respect.  My hope is, it will prove only to have been your real beginning.  Where the intent and correct energy you find in the guidance you may now embrace comes…directly and dependably in the path following your actions, every bit of support and help you will need to proceed will come.  This is the great hope of humanity and the justice of the universe…but is only available to those with the courage to look down over the edge of the cliff into the obvious abysmal oblivion below beconing to those stupid enough to step out into the open air of the future…and then watch themselves do it anyway….finding in the process that indeed, we all can fly.

(PS…also Selective Population Reduction through the Poopsie Pet corporate recyling program is turning out to be a convincing tool…conversation for another day  https://youtu.be/i3gcQhCpJTg )

Did you know that in June 2014 the CDC had recommended caution in cell phone use, particularly in children, after WHO-IARC classified wireless radiation as a class 2B possible carcinogen?

However a few weeks later, it removed the language regarding caution and potential risks for children. Why?  Because the consultant it hired - Dr. Kenneth Foster, who has published multiple articles on wireless industry funded research showing no effects -  advised against the precautions.  Please take a look at the "Before" and "After" screens side by side below of the information on CDC's website regarding wireless radiation to see their original warning and then their revised warning with the precautionary language deleted.  The end result was a change in advice, and a deletion of information that effectively removed any foundation for concerns.

Also in 2014 the CDC had considered adding information regarding cell tower research to its website then decided against it.

Please read the information below that was taken from http://ehtrust.org/cdc-documents-reveal-the-minimizing-of-risk-to-children-2/  that was obtained by the EHT from over 500 internal CDC emails through the Freedom of Information Act.

“The rejection of WHO/IARC and then-CDC agency chief Dr. Portier’s advice to reduce exposures to cell phone radiation reveals a stunning disregard of science at the CDC. These internal documents show that the CDC retracted simple precautionary advice already being provided to citizens of governments in Israel, Cyprus, France and Belgium. Why are US agencies witholding this information from the public?  Why was an industry-supported scientist asked to revamp CDC advice on cellphone radiation? ” stated Devra Davis PhD MPH of the Environmental Health Trust. Please watch this beautiful, short public service video produced by the government of Cyprus’  National Committee on Environment and Children’s Health to educate parents on what precautions to take  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H43IKNjTvRM  As I watched this, I became emotional and I kept thinking how most of the people in this country have never heard of taking precautions with their wireless devices - everyday I see people and children holding cell phones to their heads and carrying them on their body.

Other governments are warning their citizens.  But in this country the telecom industry spends millions each year on lobbying.  Here it is up to citizens, parents, scientists and doctors who care enough to speak up relentlessly on this issue.  Please share this very important information.  Thank you!

Highlights

• Exposure to the pulse modulated radio-frequency radiation could lead to increase in the permeability of blood–brain barrier.
• New researches are needed to discuss the effects of radio-frequency radiation on children.
• Efforts have to be made to understand the mechanisms of the interaction of radio-frequency radiation and the central nervous system.

Abstract

With the increased use of mobile phones, their biological and health effects have become more important. Usage of mobile phones near the head increases the possibility of effects on brain tissue. This study was designed to investigate the possible effects of pulse modulated 900MHz and 1800MHz radio-frequency radiation on the permeability of blood-brain barrier of rats.

Study was performed with 6 groups of young adult male and female wistar albino rats. The permeability of blood-brain barrier to intravenously injected evans blue dye was quantitatively examined for both control and radio-frequency radiarion exposed groups.

For male groups; Evans blue content in the whole brain was found to be 0.08±0.01mg% in the control, 0.13±0.03mg% in 900MHz exposed and 0.26±0.05mg% in 1800MHz exposed animals. In both male radio-frequency radiation exposed groups, the permeability of blood-brain barrier found to be increased with respect to the controls (p<0 .01="" 1800mhz="" animals="" br="" effective="" exposure="" found="" male="" modulated="" more="" nbsp="" on="" p="" pulse="" radiation="" radio-frequency="" the="" was="">
For female groups; dye contents in the whole brains were 0.14±0.01mg% in the control, 0.24±0.03mg% in 900MHz exposed and 0.14±0.02mg% in 1800MHz exposed animals. No statistical variance found between the control and 1800MHz exposed animals (p>0.01). However 900MHz pulse modulated radio-frequency exposure was found effective on the permeability of blood-brain barrier of female animals. Results have shown that 20 minutes pulse modulated radio-frequency radiation exposure of 900MHz and 1800MHz induces an effect and increases the permeability of blood-brain barrier of male rats. For females, 900MHz was found effective. and it could be concluded that this result may due to the physiological differences between female and male animals.

The results of this study suggest that mobile phone radiation could lead to increase the permeability of blood-brain barrier under non-thermal exposure levels. More studies are needed to demonstrate the mechanisms of that breakdown.

Excerpts
Blood–brain barrier (BBB) behaves like a selective filter which does not allow most of molecules to enter the brain under normal physiological condition (Koziara et al., 2006). It is due to tight junctions linking together endothelial cells of cerebral blood vessels. Except for lipohilic molecules which able to cross the cell inner- and outer membrane, all blood-borne materials are carried across endothelial cells by active and regulated mechanisms. Under some pathological conditions (such as hyperthermia, acute rise in arterial pressure, brain trauma, old age, MS and Alzheimer diseases, diabetes, exposure to non-ionizing/ionizing radiations…) BBB permeability increases for substances normally excluded such as large molecules that have no lipid solubility.

For the 900 MHz and 1800 MHz exposed groups the average SAR values were found to be 0.02 W/kg. For the control group SAR value was 5.4 × 10−5 W/kg. The legally acceptable SAR level limit is changing from country to country. The SAR limit of the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) is 1.6 W/kg for 1 g of tissue in the USA. This standard is also used in Canada and Australia, while the SAR standard used by the European Union is 2 W/kg for 10 g of tissue. Although the worst case approach, evaluated SAR values are far below the limits. Since the SAR values in this study is 0.02 W/kg; this SAR level have no effect on the rat's body temperature (ICNIRP, 1998), so one can call the exposure level used in this study as non-thermal. The exposure systems can affect the permeability of BBB by restrained stress or thermal stress. Environmental stress, hypoxia, alcohol, or fatigue can have some effects on the Purkinje cells, and glia cells. There were no such stress sources in the exposure procedures.

In this study, these results support the hypothesis that 900 MHz and 1800 MHz pulse modulated RFR could lead to increase in the permeability of BBB. On the basis of the current state of knowledge there are still gaps in the biological effects of RF electromagnetic fields such as children studies. Children are increasingly growing users of wireless technology and they are assumed to be more sensitive to exposures to physical, chemical or biological agents. Children get more energy in the RFR range than adults because their tissue have a larger number of ions and also a higher conductivity (Gabriel, 2005). Thus, new researches are needed to discuss the effects of RFR on children, epidemiological studies including long-term exposure, as well as other diseases. Efforts have to be made to understand the mechanisms of the interaction of RFR and the central nervous system. These mechanisms would help to explain possible biological effects.

Information The New York Times Left Out of its Exposé

on CDC’s Retraction of Cell Phone Radiation Warnings

CDC internal emails reveal children’s health risk information was deleted and an industry connected scientist gave consultation.
The New York Times January 1, 2016 exposé details how CDC officials retracted warnings about cell phone radiation based on information retrieved as a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. As a public service, Environmental Health Trust (EHT) is posting 500+ internal CDC emails, obtained as part of the FOIA request, detailing how the cell phone industry directed changes in the CDC website content. These documents detail how information on the risk to children’s health was deleted, information on cell towers never saw the light of day and a scientist well known for affiliations with the wireless industry came on as a consultant to the CDC.
At the behest of the CDC’s Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry’s then-director Christopher Portier, PhD, the agency began a three-year systematic review of the health risks of cell phone radiation in order to incorporate scientific information from the 2011 determination by the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer that cell phone and other wireless radiation is a “possible human carcinogen.” CDC composed new text for its fact sheet on cell phones and health in order to incorporate new research.

The New York Times exposé did not include these key points gleaned from the internal documents:
1. INDUSTRY FUNDED RESEARCHER STARTED CONSULTING TO THE CDC
In June 2014, the CDC posted on its website specific advice to reduce exposures, especially regarding children. Immediately after the CDC posted these cautionary warnings related to cell phone radiation, the CDC hired as a scientific consultant Kenneth Foster, PhD, a researcher whose work is often funded by the wireless industry. According to the internal documents, on June 11th a CDC official states in an email that Dr. Kenneth Foster is a “SME (subject matter expert) we now have on board and…  If we want to develop any new fact sheets on non-ionizing radiation matters, his scope of work covers that as well and he can quickly draft them for us.” CDC officials then discuss engaging Foster to review the new cell phone fact sheet (page 254 of the internal emails).

Why should we be concerned that Kenneth Foster is lending expertise to the CDC?
Foster has a long history of close ties with industry—publishing multiple industry funded articles that seem to conclude there is little risk from cell phone and other wireless radiation.
  • For example, a widely publicized review by Foster with CK Chou was funded by the Mobile Manufacturers Forum and concluded that the radiation dose to a child’s brain from cell phone use does not differ from adults. However, a recent new paper published in the IEEE exposes glaring inconsistencies and systematic errors in Foster and Chou’s review.
  •  EHT Senior Medical Advisor Robert Morris, MD PhD, and expert co-authors, document, “what appears to be a deliberate distortion of the science and a boldfaced effort to downplay potential risks to children using mobile devices,” and take the unusual step of calling for the Foster and Chou paper to be withdrawn from publication. Foster also published several other often cited reviews of research on the health risks of wireless systems, funded by the Wireless Alliance, that minimize the research showing health risks to children. (FYI- Chou was Chief EME Scientist for Motorola).
Recent research with anatomically correct models indicates that children do absorb more cell phone radiation than adults, contrary to Foster and Chou’s review.
Strangely absent from the FOIA response is any record of direct communications between Foster and CDC staff as they worked together on non-ionizing radiation website content, although the documents specifically references that such communications were initiated. The end result was a change in advice, and a deletion of information that effectively removed any foundation for concerns.
2. THE CDC DECIDED AGAINST SHARING INFORMATION ON THE RISKS OF CELL TOWERS NEAR SCHOOLS AND HOMES
In emails written in 2014, CDC officials contemplated adding content about cell towers that never made it to the agency website. The agency noted, “Similar to cell phones the data appear to be contradictory but this is where CDC could be of service to clarify the research.” A CDC official describes how people were trying to stop a cell tower up on top of a local elementary school and “people had signs in their yards protesting the tower because of radiation concerns. So it’s definitely information people are looking for” (page 94 of internal documents). EHT notes that information on cell tower research was never added to the CDC site.
And finally: What lay behind the successive watering down of CDC information on the risk to children from cell phone radiation?
3. INFORMATION ON THE RISK TO CHILDREN IS REMOVED PIECE BY PIECE: On August 18, 2014, the bulk of sentences cautioning the public of the greater risk to children from phone radiation were removed because—according to what CDC officials state in the emails—“We thought the struck language was hard to understand.” (page 397 of internal documents). In fact, according to the internal documents, this precautionary wording was developed by considering the precautionary stance of other governments and expert groups (page 142 of the internal documents). Some recent precautionary advisories from government officials include these from IndiaFrance,IsraelCyprusBelgium, and Germany.

Please take a look at the wording about children’s health  that was deleted from the CDC website.
Do cell phones cause health problems in children.
It’s too soon to know for sure. It’s not known if cell phone use by children can cause problems. Children who use cell phones and continue to use them as they get older are likely to be around RF for many years. If RF does cause health problems, kids who use cell phones may have a higher chance of developing these health problems in the future.
As of January 2016, the text has further changed. For example, there is no longer a statement about children anywhere on the webpage. It is unknown at what date this text was deleted but was sometime after August 20, 2014.
See below the information that was deleted about caution in cell phone use.

Can using a cell phone cause cancer?
There is no scientific evidence that provides a definite answer to that question. Along with many organizations worldwide, we Some organizations recommend caution. More research is needed before we know for sure if using cell phones causes cancer health effects.
It should be noted that the sentence, “At this time we do not have the science to link health problems with cell phone use.” was added since August 2014. Such a sentence is misleading and false. There is significant accumulated science linking cell phones to health effects such as brain tumors, brain damage and reproductive system damage. Other governments are informing their citizens. We invite you to watch a recent public service video produced by the government of Cyprus’  National Committee on Environment and Children’s Health to educate parents.  Why is the CDC is witholding such lifesaving information from the citizens of the USA.
