Green Parties council members act to add antennas  in order to reduce pupils exposure from Wi-Fi

     This is a result of the public relations of the cell phone companies for years, that more antennas mean less radiation when they wanted to sell the public more antennas for 3G.  For reduction of radiation from Wi-Fi, green parties cities council members filed a suggestion for order, to add more cellular antennas:

Cities council members from the Green Party and Green Israel, filed in several cities in the country, a suggestion for other, to add more low power antennas - lower level than in the law, in order to reduce the radiation from each antenna. "In contrast to the accepted instinct, that multiple antennas is a bad thing, it reduces significantly the dangerous radiation level that is emitted from each antenna and antenna in  the city area, said Dr. Avi Lilian, chairman of the Green Ramat Gan party, in Ramat Gan city council, among the those who filed this suggestion for order. "The advantage of the technology is that the radiation level will reduce up to 100 fold."  Today the law allows the cell phone companies up to 100 microwatts antennas. The suggestion calls to limit the radiation level in offices to 1 microwatts/cm2 from antennas or other wireless equipment that transmits above 10 MHz in places of chronic exposures.  Dr. Lilian explains that the main purpose of the suggestion is reduction of radiation in schools towards the installation of WiFi [Wi-Fi is installed in part of the schools so far] :"When you activate W-Fi in coffee shop you are there for 1.5 hours, but when we activate it in school and every child from morning to evening, for 8 hours during 8 years, it has an accumulated effect".
