Ontario - Ground Current Pollution Bill

Ontario - Ground Current Pollution Bill

On Thursday February 18, Rick Nicolls, MPP for Chatham–Kent–Essex is presenting his Ground Current Pollution Bill to the Legislative Assembly at Queens Park in Toronto (corner of College and University).

This is a very IMPORTANT Bill.  If successful, it will reduce ground current pollution in Ontario within the next 10 years and provide much needed relief to farmers whose livestock are suffering terribly.  I can’t stress how important it is for people to come to the reading of this Bill at the Parliament Building on February 18th.

Three private members' bills (PMB) will be presented and at this stage we don’t know the order of presentations.  Debates start at 1:30 pm.  Time limit for each PMB is 50 minutes and voting takes place after all three bills are presented.

Visitors can watch the proceedings in the gallery.  Gallery passes are free.  Please note that you need a photo ID to get into the gallery,

The more people we have in the gallery the greater the impact on the politicians who will be voting on this Bill.  If at all possible, please come on Thursday at 1:30 pm.  Bring you friends, kids, but not your pets.

Hope to see many of you there and thank you for supporting this important initiative.
