Dear Paul, Our documentary Take Back Your Power raised worldwide awareness about harm caused by "smart" meter technology. Our core team has since been developing the 2nd Phase — a trailblazing combo of film + solutions. Together, we will replace "smart" meters with technologies that respect human rights and create true empowerment. We can do this — and already are. Behind the scenes, victories have already been won. Below are the details:   Web Programmer/Developer - conscious activism film project (working title: TBYP Phase 2) Want to use your development skills to change the world? We have produced a multiple award-winning indie documentary about grassroots social change -- and are seeking a spirited, passionate and skilled web programmer for "phase 2" of our international project. Our team has mapped out a new action-based website with cutting-edge features and online advocacy tools. We have received help from several developers part-time, and are now seeking a developer who can commit to this extensive project. If you are a skilled, experienced programmer who THINKS BIG and has a HEART FOR CHANGE, we are ready for you to join our team and grow with us. While we ideally seek a volunteer for this phase (transitioning into a paid position as we grow), payment for this phase is negotiable for the right candidate. Technical requirements: • Strong skills with WordPress, PHP, API integration, and HTML/CSS. • Awareness of the need for a change course, and new type of conscious activism. • Stimulated by the challenge of developing new tools for a worthy cause, and enjoy finding new ways to create solutions. • Available 20 or more hours per week, and are available to start right away. • Have an artistic side or "inner designer" is an asset. Gain tremendous experience while contributing on an inspiring team dedicated to the positive shift of humanity, in one of 14 volunteer positions. (Note to industry plants, you'll need to sign a contract aligning you with your highest good and entering you into a soul re-education program. Just kidding... maybe. ;)) Volunteer opportunities (14)   Advocacy Assistant (paralegal/research/support) Help with our advocacy development, and supporting groups and individuals uniformly saying no to the "smart" meter agenda. Paralegal training preferred. Article writer: news & updates Write about meaningful, newsworthy developments in the movement! We need ongoing help writing news posts for www.takebackyourpower.net and our newsletter. Some experience with Wordpress is an asset, but not required. Assistant Video Editor Work with Josh del Sol and our 2nd assistant editor on solutions-oriented new film & video material. Adobe Premiere experts preferred. Bookkeeper If you're an experienced and available bookkeeper, and are available for a few hours per week, we need your help. Creative Copy-writer Are you a natural storyteller with a knack for making things understandable? We want to hear from you. Data Researcher Like to work behind-the-scenes, digging out the goods? We need a minimum of one online data researcher. Facebook / Social Coordinator We are regularly posting great content, but need help with growing our fan base and customizing posts & tweets. We're ready to grow! General Support  Help with one or several of a variety of tasks: outreach, screening support, project management, data formatting & organizing, etc. Graphic Design / Photoshop We're looking for someone with experience creating various elements in Photoshop, for web, marketing and video resources. Marketing Implementation consultant (online) Are you an online marketing expert? This position will be exceedingly valuable to many. Our team has begun developing amazing ideas, and we just need help manifesting them. Payment possibly negotiable for this position. Marketing & Research Assistant Work with our strategic team and Marketing Director on web content development, outreach, and basically changing the world through your inspirational messaging. Translate Film (to other languages) The more languages Take Back Your Power is translated into, the quicker we reach critical mass. TBYP is currently translated to: Spanish, French, German, Hebrew and Danish -- but we still need minor help with these languages. Experienced translators or very detailed-oriented people preferred. Web Forum Moderator If you have excellent communication skills, are very familiar with the issues at hand, and don't easily get triggered, you may be an excellent forum moderator. Daily help required. VFX Designer/Animator There are several sequences which need to be developed for our new project. Contact us if you're a whiz with 3D graphics, design, and or animation!
