OTTAWA, Oct. 25, 2013 /CNW/ - Canadians who are sick due to wireless radiation from cell phones, cell towers, smart meters and Wi-Fi will address the Royal Society of Canada Monday at a public hearing into Canada's safety limits for microwave exposure.
Presenters include leading Canadian scientists, medical professionals, and the former president of Microsoft Canada. Together they will accuse Health Canada of lagging behind a global trend toward safer guidelines for wireless devices.
Frank Clegg, who ran Microsoft Canada for fifteen years, will testify that Health Canada is neglecting emerging science that shows everyday wireless devices are endangering the health of Canadians.
Health Canada's "expert scientific panel" on microwave radiation has been dogged by conflict of interest scandals for months. In July panel Chair Daniel Krewski resigned after being exposed for failing the conflict of interest standards
