Radiation: Health official moves to HC seeking action against cell phone company authorities'
INDORE: Concerned over the residents' health due to the radiation from the mushrooming of illegal cell phone towers in residential areas, an official of the state health department has moved the high court seeking appropriate action against cellphone service providers and authorities concerned granting permission to install the towers recklessly.
Radiation safety officer at the health department Shashikant Vajpayee has filed a caveat in the court seeking its order for setting up a committee to check whether the norms of the International Commission for Non-ionizing Radiation Protection ( ICNIRP) are being followed or not.
