Surfs Up With SickKidsWiFi!
Surfing the web at SickKids just got easier with today’s launch of a new wireless network. The free network, called SickKidsWiFi, provides Internet access for all patients, families and guests while at SickKids. Patients and visitors can connect to the network from their mobile devices and laptops, making it easy to connect with others.
The network covers a variety of locations throughout SickKids, including the Atrium, patient rooms and the Main Floor of the Black, Burton and Hill wings. Any mobile device with IEEE 802.11a Wi-Fi and web browsing capability can be used to connect to SickKidsWiFi.
So, whether you’re a guest eating your lunch, a patient relaxing in your room, or a family member waiting for your child’s appointment, you are now connected!
