New system uses low-power Wi-Fi signal to track moving humans — even behind walls

‘Wi-Vi’ is based on a concept similar to radar and sonar imaging.

  1. These techie developers need Ethics 101. Not everyone wants this technology to be unleashed. If it could be used for "safety" it could also be used by a criminals to see who's home, which room, etc.

    As for "gesture-based" controls in a home, what a stupid idea. Now the fat couch potatoes can sit there and just clap lights on, appliances off, etc. How truly idiotic for the general public. Instant gratification abounds. They will forget how to turn a light switch.

    This does not even factor in the additional RF radiation from this wireless system.

    Wireless appears to be magic. But it is a poison. The sick joke's on the human race.
