MY RESPONSE TO DARIUSZ LESZCZYNSKI AT THE WASHINGTON TIMES

    Art,
If the radiation from "smart meters" would have such impact, then explain why higher level of radiation that comes from cell towers or the very high level coming from cell phones (very high when compared with "smatr meters") did not make already everyone sick? The 5 billions of cell phone users that are continuously in the range of cell tower radiation should be already sick by your prediction. Something is not checking out in your prediction.

    Well, Dariusz,

Personally speaking, I myself was very sick for six months before I even imagined the cause -- which did turn out to be caused by living in the vicinity of several cell phone towers. I did not even know that they were there -- blending into the landscape with everything else in the surroundings of any large city. So this goes against the theory that people see these towers and then imagine getting sick. For me it was the opposite: I was very sick before I even noticed that there were these towers in the vicinity of where I was living. The thought that the the waves emitted by these towers could affect my health did not even occur to me. Hence, for me, it is not hard to imagine that a large number of people with these "mysterious" disease states are being affected by something they cannot sense with their five senses. And when the doctors do not understand what is causing the problem, they usually blame it on one of four things: (1) genetics, (2) a virus, (3) stress, (4) your imagination. Fortunately, an increasing number of people are starting to put two and two together, regardless of what you say.

    Kind regards,

    Art KAB

    Art,

You are apparently a person who self-diagnosed cause of your feeling unwell. I honestly wonder how you were able to pin-point cell tower radiation as the cause. There was city around you with large mix of all kinds of environmental hazards. Also, you say that people "are being affected by something they cannot sense with their five senses". This is something what does not adds up. EHS or sensitive people say that they know when radiation is present in their surroundings. You say that they cannot sense it. Your explanation is not making much sense and is difficult to believe in.

    Dariusz,

Well, when the doctors are unaware and uneducated about the effects of EMF on the body, sometimes a patient has to take things into his own hands. And fortunately because I in fact did do this I was able to recover. If I had not, I imagine that I would be much worse off now than I was then. Please do not twist what I am trying to say. Even though someone is not able to sense something with their five senses does not mean that they are not able to sense feeling unwell. So, yes, it does add up and it does make perfect sense when explained this way. Do you understand what I am saying? I am imagining that you are a somewhat intelligent individual. I do not think that this is such a difficult concept to understand: unless of course you already do understand what I am saying and are just a perpetual arguer. I came to the conclusion quite a while ago that people when presented with the facts with regards to this issue and still will not accept this as a problem are one or more of the following: (1) the psychopathic liars, (2) the psychological deniers, (3) the perpetual arguers, or the (4) pompous (or not) ignorami.

    Mr. KAB,

you wrote "For me it was the opposite: I was very sick before I even noticed that
there were these towers in the vicinity of where I was living. The
thought that the the waves emitted by these towers could affect my
health did not even occur to me"

In your report, I miss one - for me important - point. By whom were you drawn the attention then on a connection between your symptoms and the cell phone towers? I believe, that is the "key experience" how somebody evaluate his illness.
  • Art  KAB
Well, I had been sick and looking for answers. I had initially believed it was a virus -- as many do.

Then I had been reading Dr. Garth Nicolson`s papers about mycoplasma infections. Basically, there are a lot of theories about different kinds of pathogens causing this illness, and while there are a multitude of pathogens involved, I now strongly feel that these are all opportunistic infections as a result of a weakened immune system. Hence, we can say they are only secondary and should not be the focus. The focus should be on what is causing the immune system to be weakened -- and there are numerous studies showing EMFs weaken the immune system. Hence, if you are using the correct model -- a constructionist/experiential learning model (which implies making logical inferences) -- then this should be a no brainer.

Anyway, I had been reading this blog of a person who had been suffering from both Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Crohn`s Disease and he had all kinds of interesting theories about what was going on. One day, on his blog, he wrote something to the extent of
"It was the microwaves. It was the electromagnetic pollution. I moved out of my apartment in a big European city and into my parents` house in the French countryside and all my symptoms have suddenly disappeared. I went back to measure the amount of electromagnetic pollution in my apartment and got very high readings."
Well, reading this made me start thinking. I knew that I did feel better out in the country -- though it was not 100%. I also knew that I felt better at night -- in spite of the fact that I was unable to sleep unless I took sleeping pills. I also knew that I would feel worse and have these strange feelings of anxiety at specific times of the day, which I was later able to connect with peak cell phone usage times.

So... after some searching I found a log house up in the mountains in an area with no cell phone reception and initially rented it for 3 days. I felt so much better within the first 24 hours -- with approximately a 50% disappearance of symptoms -- that I ended up staying in this log house for 4 months.

And as I was recovering, I also started to become extremely sensitive to the electromagnetic waves. For example, we would be driving down the road, and on numerous occasions I would feel the EMFs before we could see the tower. At one point, we were in a small coffee shop and I was telling my partner that I was feeling pretty good in this location when a woman walked in and I could immediately sense she had a cell phone. And then it starts ringing and she answers it. We later confirmed that everyone else in the coffee shop (most elderly Japanese farmers) did not have cell phones.

So... there you go! Experience is the best teacher!

“Many people, especially ignorant people, want to punish you for speaking the truth, for being correct, for being you. Never apologize for being correct, or for being years ahead of your time. If you’re right and you know it, speak your mind. Speak your mind. Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is still the truth.”

    ~ Gandhi

"Everything must be taken into account. If the fact will not fit the theory -- let the theory go.... Real evidence is usually vague and unsatisfactory. It has to be examined -- sifted. But here the whole thing is cut and dried. No, my friend, this evidence has been very cleverly manufactured -- so cleverly that it has defeated its own ends."
