FCC Advisory Committee followup
To Everyone,
The FCC has stacked its Disability Advisory Committee with as many
representatives of industry as advocates for the disabled. It has people
representing AT&T, Verizon, the CTIA, etc.
Mary Lamielle writes this letter after receiving word that she was not
chosen for the committee:

Good Afternoon Friends and Colleagues:
Thank you to those who supported my nomination to the FCC Disability
Advisory Committee. I wanted to let everyone know that I was not
appointed to the advisory committee. You can see the names of the
appointees and their affiliations and information on the first meeting
scheduled for March 17, 9 am to 5pm at
http://www.fcc.gov/document/
will be open to the public and webcast with open captioning at
www.fcc.gov/live.
Thank you again, and in particular to those of you who took the time to
write letters in support of the nomination. If you attend the advisory
committee meeting or if you provide comment during the committee
process, I would welcome hearing or being copied on the correspondence
as convenient. Mary Lamielle
