Dear Sen Udall and Rep. Lujan: YOU DO NOT HAVE OUR VOTE!!!

Dear Sen Udall and Rep. Lujan:

I am writing as your constituent in the 3rd Congressional district of New Mexico. As a cofounder of DOCTORS W.A.R.N. [Wireless And Radiation Network] made up of 90 plus medical professionals in the Santa Fe area, I have contacted you for two years on this issue and you have ignored the scientific research and international articles on this issue. My group includes over 300 voters in the Santa Fe area, and we are not voting for anybody who ignores this health threat of unregulated and involuntary exposures to microwave radiation...

At this point, every TeleCom [Verizon, Sprint/Nextel, Nokia, AT & T, Motorola, including four Personal Injury cases against Motorola] has admitted in their SEC filing that they are fighting suits based upon health effects suffered by American citizens.

I am writing as your constituent in the 3rd Congressional district of New Mexico. I support H.R.6358 - To examine, label, and communicate adverse human biological effects associated with exposure to electromagnetic fields from cell phones and other wireless devices, and for other purposes., and am tracking it using, the free public resource website for government transparency and accountability.

Study Finds Chemotherapy Makes Cancer Far Worse

Study Finds Chemotherapy Makes Cancer Far Worse

Woops! Study Accidentally Finds Chemotherapy Makes Cancer Far Worse
Anthony Gucciardi

August 6, 2012
A team of researchers looking into why cancer cells are so resilient accidentally stumbled upon a far more important discovery. While conducting their research, the team discovered that chemotherapy actually heavily damages healthy cells and subsequently triggers them to release a protein that sustains and fuels tumor growth. Beyond that, it even makes the tumor highly resistant to future treatment. Reporting their findings in the journal Nature Medicine, the scientists report that the findings were ‘completely unexpected’. Finding evidence of significant DNA damage when examining the effects of chemotherapy on tissue derived from men with prostate cancer, the writings are a big slap in the face to mainstream medical organizations who have been pushing chemotherapy as the only option to cancer patients for years.

The news comes after it was previously ousted by similarly-breaking research that expensive cancer drugs not only fail to treat tumors, but actually make them far worse. The cancer drugs were found to make tumors ‘metasize’ and grow massively in size after consumption. As a result, the drugs killed the patients more quickly. Known as WNT16B, scientists who performed the research say that this protein created from chemo treatment boosts cancer cell survival and is the reason that chemotherapy actually ends lives more quickly. Co-author Peter Nelson of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle explains:

“WNT16B, when secreted, would interact with nearby tumour cells and cause them to grow, invade, and importantly, resist subsequent therapy.”

The team then complimented the statement with a word of their own:
“Our results indicate that damage responses in benign cells… may directly contribute to enhanced tumour growth kinetics.”

Meanwhile, dirt cheap substances like turmeric and ginger have consistently been found to effectively shrink tumors and combat the spread of cancer. In a review of 11 studies, it was found that turmeric use reduced brain tumor size by a shocking 81%. Further research has also shown that turmeric is capable of halting cancer cell growth altogether. One woman recently hit the mainstream headlines by revealing her victory against cancer with the principal spice used being turmeric.

This accidental finding reached by scientists further shows the lack of real science behind many ‘old paradigm’ treatments, despite what many health officials would like you to believe. The truth of the matter is that natural alternatives do not even receive nearly as much funding as pharmaceutical drugs and medical interventions because there’s simply no room for profit. If everyone was using turmeric and vitamin D for cancer (better yet cancer prevention), major drug companies would lose out.

The food becomes unhealthy near the computer
August 8, 2012

A study by the University of Human Ecology in Ukraine has revealed that the electromagnetic field of the computer destroys the molecular structure of water and food making them harmful to health. Ukrainian scientists conducted an experiment food left next to the computer for some time, after having applied a molecular analysis. Returning turned out to analyze the molecular structure of water contained in food changed negatively. "Water becomes 'aggressive' changes its structure and ends up being harmful to the human body," says Mikhail Kurik, one of the authors of the research. Same with the 80% of water in the human body. According to doctors, the negative impact accumulates in the body can develop long-term disorders such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. Experts recommend spending less time at the computer and not eat near the device to not cause additional damage to the body. RT

The knight who said no: health hazards in the workplace

The knight who said no. Annie Thébaud-Mony refused France’s top honor

A French public health researcher and advocate has refused to accept one of the highest honors bestowed by the French government to protest what she says is a lax attitude toward health hazards in the workplace. Annie Thébaud-Mony, a semiretired researcher at the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM), says it would be “almost indecent” to accept the honor while there is “a very big indifference … to the death of workers and to environmental damage.”

On 13 July, a day before France’s national holiday, the French government announced that Thébaud-Mony was to become a knight in the Légion d’Honneur . She had been nominated, along with 29 other French citizens, by housing minister Cécile Duflot. In a letter dated 31 July that she made public on Saturday, Thébaud-Mony thanked the minister but wrote that she would prefer to see Duflot “challenge the impunity that until now has protected those who carry out industrial crimes.”

Thébaud-Mony has spent 3 decades investigating health hazards in the workplace—with a focus on cancers—and has studied related regulation, social inequalities, and patient support. She has also become a strong advocate; she co-founded Ban Asbestos France, for instance, and currently presides over the Henri Pézerat Association, which supports initiatives to reduce professional and environmental health risks.

By refusing the award, Thébaud-Mony says she wants to alert the government to the fact that many French workers are still exposed to cancer-causing compounds. A 10-year survey she conducted among oncology and pulmonology patients in the region of Seine-Saint-Denis showed that “85% are heavily exposed to a cocktail of carcinogens without any protection,” she says. Among the most risky sectors are construction, car repair, metal, waste, maintenance, cleaning, and the nuclear industry. While regulations have been put in place, many of them in the 1990s, employers often don’t comply, she says.

Thébaud-Mony says that researchers in her field have been lacking institutional support. She says she didn’t receive the personal recognition she was expecting from INSERM, which she believes passed her over for promotions in part because her work runs counter to industrial interests. “Even worse,” she wrote in her letter to Duflot, “several young and brilliant researchers who worked with me have seen the doors of the institutions close in front of them.” An INSERM spokesperson said no one at the institute was available to respond the past 2 days.

In a statement issued on Monday, Duflot said that she had “profound respect for Thébaud-Mony’s determined and disinterested engagement,” and said that her reasons to refuse the medal were exactly the ones for which she deserved it. Duflot also said she would extend an invitation to talk in September. “My only wish is that our combined actions, and the publicity they are receiving, contribute to making your fight more than a summer topic,” the minister added.

This is a significant announcement to all supporters of Environmental Health Trust. They are listening! We are very excited to bring you news to three important developments in the last few weeks. We know you will want to see how much impact your support is having.

June 15

FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski requests that his fellow Commissioners revisit the rules that determine radiation exposure levels in cellphones. Three of the five commissioners have to approve his request before the FCC formally begins discussing ways to address growing evidence on cellphone radiation and health.

August 2

Congress announces "H.R.6358 - To examine, label, and communicate adverse human biological effects associated with exposure to electromagnetic fields from cell phones and other wireless devices, and for other purposes." This is a bill that would require labeling on cell phones and a fundamentally new approach to safety and testing--ideas that EHT Chairman Herberman, Dr Davis, Lloyd Morgan and other EHT senior staff have been urging for years!

August 3

The Washington Post publishes "Cellphone-safety advocate hopes Congress forces the FCC to update its regulations." The article says, in part, "As soon as next week, Congress is expected to say that a year-long investigation by the Government Accountability Office has found the Federal Communications Commission's cellphone-safety regulations are woefully out of date. Congress may also urge the agency, whose radiation-limit rules are 15 years old, to take a fresh look at how children in particular may be affected by radio waves." Read the entire article.

As you can see, all this is happening fast and EHT has been at the forefront of the efforts that have resulted in the issues of cell phone radiation finally getting the attention here in the US that counties around the world have already started talking seriously about. Our work is based on science and our commitment is to safety. And now, more than ever, we need your help. You can see that our work is bearing fruit but the fight is just starting. We've got people listening and now we've got to get them talking. And then we have to get them to act.
Please help us by making a donation today that will allow us to expand our reach to the citizens of our great country and expand our cutting-edge research on the infant and toddler brain response to cellphone radiation--a topic on which the American Academy of Pediatrics shares our deep concern. It's fast and easy and you can do it online at and click the Donate button on the right side of the page or click here. 100% of the money we raise goes directly to fund research, outreach and education and as a registered 501(c)(3) your donation is fully tax deductible.
