The US Department of Transportation is preparing to mandate that all new cars shall be equipped with wireless communications capability, allowing direct communications between vehicles. This they call Vehicle to Vehicle Communications ... or, V2V.
Unfortunately, the public comment period ends tomorrow, 20 October, at 11:59 PM, EST! If you think equipping every new car on the road with wireless technology is a bad idea, we encourage you to submit a comment before midnight tomorrow, EST.
