KI-forskare: porta skolpolitiker som vill ge hälsofarliga läsplattor – utan bevisat pedagogiskt värde – till eleverna


Olle_Johansson-Foto-Ida_NordlanderTack vare den s.k. Pisa-undersökningen vet vi nu: Resultaten rasar i den svenska skolan. Något är fel. Regeringen svarar med att tvinga alla elever att gå igenom denna skola ytterligare ett år samt igångsätter en rad med andra panikåtgärder. Men räkna inte med att skolorna nu ska få arbetsro, så att de kan luska ut hur de får saker att fungera och avvecklar de hjälpmedel och administrativa ‘tömmar’ som inte gör det.

Skolorna har på några få år utsatts för mängder av förändringar och fått nya uppdrag, kontrolluppgifter och ny administration. En del är bra, en del dåligt. Man har bl.a. satsat enormt mycket på den datoriserade undervisningen där eleverna via sina appar, mobiltelefoner och läsplattor ska inhämta ny kunskap. Pedagogikens förnyare har tagit bort läroböcker och pennor, svarta tavlor och pekpinnar, och istället ersatt dem med de nya trådlösa läsplattorna och mobilerna. Andra, såsom jag själv, har många gånger – oftast helt ohörda – höjt ett varnande pedagogiskt finger.
Idag är det mycket svårt att vara lärare och ta ansvar för undervisningen i klassrum där elevernas mobiltelefoner ideligen ringer, SMS skickas fram och tillbaka, och via sina iPhones och iPads surfar de hela tiden på nätet eller spelar olika spel. Allt detta när de egentligen skall arbeta med sina skoluppgifter.
I Sverige har man haft flera fall där lärare tillrättavisats därför de “kränkt elevernas integritet” när de tagit från dem sina mobiltelefoner, och andra lärare har anmälts för att de varit för stränga mot eleverna och inte tillåtit de att göra vad de önskat på timmarna. Samtidigt som det skett har Sverige – som är ett av de mest datortäta skolländerna i världen – rasat avseende läs-, skriv- och matematikkunskaper, man har idag inte råd att anställa tillräckligt med personal, och det har t.o.m. föreslagits att “skoltrötta” elever ska slippa 2/3 av sin gymnasieutbildning. Så de nya hjälpmedlen imponerar inte – det verkar snarare som om vi borde lägga pengarna på välutbildade lärare med gammaldags läromedel.
Vad man samtidigt sett är en tendens till att elever på alternativa skolor, såsom Waldorf, Montessori och Reggio Emilia, tycks klara sig något bättre och mognar mentalt snabbare – och det är väldigt intressant eftersom dessa skolor av tradition – inte alls använder sig av datorer och liknande till samma grad.

Barn troligen känsliga för pulsad mikrovågsstrålning från iPads och routers

barn_med_ipadDessa nya trådlösa hjälpmedel översvämmar numera skolor och hem. Exempel på sådana strålkällor är trådlösa routers, datorer med trådlösa nätverkskort, trådlösa fasta telefoner, läsplattor (som iPad), mobiltelefoner, osv. Sedan flera år tillbaks finns det samtidigt bevis för att exponering från deras elektromagnetiska fält kan orsaka allvarlig biologisk påverkan och hälsoeffekter. Mot denna bakgrund har många likt jag själv protesterat, bl.a. föräldrar tillsammans med lärare och skolpersonal i Köping som i Bärgslagsbladet den 18/4, 2012, under rubriken “Nej till trådlöst i skolan” försökte sätta ned foten.
Det finns numera många vetenskapliga belägg för att barn sannolikt är mer sårbara för pulsad mikrovågsstrålning än vuxna, och ny forskning visar bland annat på allvarliga effekter på beteende och inlärningsförmåga. Det råder en allmän enighet bland forskare om att elektromagnetiska fält penetrerar hjärnan hos barn mer än hos vuxna eftersom barnskallar är tunnare. Det råder också en bred enighet om att barn är mer utsatta för skadeeffekter från strålning eftersom deras kroppar är under utveckling.
Barn är inte ”små vuxna”!

Europarådets miljöutskott kräver kraftfulla åtgärder för att skydda allmänheten mot mobilstrålning

WHO har 2011 klassificerat elektromagnetiska fält från trådlös informationsteknologi som möjligt cancerframkallande. Europarådets miljöutskott kräver i sin resolution nr. 1815 från maj 2011 kraftfulla åtgärder för att skydda allmänheten mot mobilstrålningens skadeverkningar, bl.a. vill man ha ett förbud mot mobiltelefoni och trådlöst internet i skolor med hänsyn till barns hälsa. Man vill också sänka gränsvärdet för mobiltelefoni kraftigt, allt detta helt i enighet med Seletunrapportens krav från 2010.
I denna yrkar en internationell grupp vetenskapsmän om stopp för vidare utbyggnad av trådlösa system och kräver nya gränsvärden.
Gruppen, The Seletun Scientific Panel, publicerade i februari 2010 en resolution med en lång rad gemensamma ståndpunkter och rekommendationer, baserade på en genomgång av den då tillgängliga forskningen om hälsoeffekter av elektromagnetiska fält. Sedan dess har det kommit ännu fler rapporter…

Svenska Strålsäkerhetsmyndigheten (SSM) vilseleder

Ibland ser man i debatten att någon – oftast från en strålsäkerhetsmyndighet – hävdar att det inte är någon fara, “strålningen är så svag”. Svag i förhållande till vad, frågar jag mig? Idag sitter barn i strålningsnivåer som med lätthet kan vara 1.000.000.000.000.000.000 gånger högre än vår naturliga bakgrundsstrålning. Hur blev ett sådant tal “så svagt”?
Använder barn en bärbar dator för att ladda ner från trådlöst Internet är de utsatta för lika mycket strålning (omkring 1.000 μW/m2 och däröver) som om de var nära en basstation för mobiltelefoni (50-100 meter). Det finns många föräldrar som inte är medvetna om detta. Siffrorna är inte tagna ur luften utan hämtade från den officiella mätning som den norska Post- och Telestyrelsen gjort, bl.a. i skolor i Oslo. Oavsett om det handlar om basstationer, trådlösa nätverk eller mobiltelefoner, så är det samma typ av strålning vi talar om (i intervallet 1-2,5 GHz).

Autism och ADHD-liknande beteenden

En grupp forskare i Kalifornien genomförde nyligen en stor studie av mobilanvändning hos gravida kvinnor. De tittade på alla barn som var född i Danmark ett visst år, och intervjuade mödrarna om sin mobilanvändning under graviditeten. De frågade också om barns mobilanvändning och beteende.
Det visade sig, till forskarnas förvåning, att de mödrar som hade använt mobiltelefon mest under graviditeten hade den största risken att få barn med beteendesvårigheter.
Det handlade om både autism och ADHD-liknande beteenden. Riskökningen var statistiskt säkerställda. Risken ökade dessutom ytterligare om barnet själv använde mobiltelefon.

Symptom: Huvudvärk, onormal trötthet och irritation

En sådan studie är kanske inte tillräcklig för att draga slutsatsen att elektromagnetiska fält är farliga för barn. Tyska forskare ville därför mäta stråldosen som barn och ungdomar utsätts för i det dagliga livet. De bad ca. 3.000 barn och ungdomar i Bayern att gå omkring med en dosimeter på sig från morgon till kväll. Dosimetrarna mätte strålningen från mobiltelefoner, basstationer och trådlösa nätverk.
Det visade sig att den fjärdedel av barnen som varit mest utsatta för strålning, hade mer koncentrationsproblem på kvällen än resten av barnen. Samma grupp hade också mer huvudvärk och var mer irriterade än andra ungdomar.
Resultaten var återigen statistiskt säkerställda. Så frågan är vilken mekanism som kan förklara dessa symtom hos barn och ungdomar. Forskarna Buchner & Eger i Tyskland mätte nivåerna av stresshormoner hos 60 boende i ett område innan man monterade in en basstation. Därefter uppmättes de igen efter sex månader och återigen efter ett och ett halvt år efter det att antennen togs i drift.
Det visade sig att människorna hade mycket högre nivåer av stresshormonerna adrenalin och noradrenalin sex månader efter det att basstationen tagits i drift, och efter ytterligare ett år hade situationen inte förbättrats. Att leva med en sådan ständig stressituation i kroppen är självklart skadligt för hälsan.

Tro nu inte att detta bara handlar om barn. Nej, även foster påverkas markant och på ett synnerligen skrämmande vis. Forskarna Jing, m. fl., vid Department of Public Health, Shandong University i Kina, har studerat påverkan av mobilstrålning på gravida råttors foster. Forskarna mätte förändringar på både nervcellers signalämnen samt effekter på antioxidativa enzym vilka skall skydda våra celler från oxidativ stress.
Slutsats: Mobilstrålningen under graviditeten gav upphov till skador på fostrens hjärnor! De föddes alltså redan hjärnskadade. Vilka mammor och pappor vill det?

Elever och lärare rapporterar allt oftare onormal trötthet i sin arbetsmiljö, och man kan idag inte avfärda misstankarna om att exponering från trådlösa nätverk kan spela en roll för detta. Det är därför mycket viktigt att vi nu säkerställer att trådlösa nätverk från förskolor och skolor inte i sig utgör betydande och onödiga risker för våra barns och lärares hälsa. Ämnet är akademiskt inte speciellt komplicerat, men kan för en lekman framstå som svårbedömt. Bristen på kunskap beror idag uteslutande på bristande forskningsresurser, ej på bristande idéer, hypoteser, teorier eller intresse.

Försiktighetsprincipen måste tillämpas

Baserat på ovanstående information har organisationen Folkets Strålevern i Norge,www.stralevern.no, uppmanat föräldrar att skriva på ett formellt avtal där man som förälder inte ger sitt samtycke till att skola eller förskola utsätter deras barn för mikrovågsstrålning från trådlös kommunikationsteknik varken i klassrummet eller inomhus i allmänhet. Som förälder uppmanas man till att också kräva att skolan/förskolan vidtager försiktighetsåtgärder för att minimera strålningsexponeringen, och att trådbundna lösningar för datanät och inomhustelefoni genast återanskaffas. Man uppmanas också att kräva svar på vem som är ansvarig om barnet skadas p.g.a. strålningsexponeringen.
Men vi måste nu snabbt bestämma oss! Antingen ska vi i Sverige enbart ha framtida ”konstnärstyper” som springer runt i samhället, hej vilt, kreativa som sjutton men helt omöjliga att sätta vid spakarna på ett flygplan eller ansvara för säkerheten vid ett kärnkraftverk. Eller också ska vi ha en befolkning som helt jämlikt bibringas samtliga grunder för att fungera i vårt samhälle, på alla de olika poster vi anser oss behöva, och där vi inte accepterar matte-, läs- och skrivsvårigheter som enbart beror på att undervisningen skötts av ej behörig personal, via underliga ”appar” och i ett datoriserat pedagogiskt kaos.
Men vår utbildningsminister Jan Björklund har nu istället tillsatt en rådgivande internationell expertgrupp (en s.k. ”skolkommission”), en ny myndighet (ett ”skolforskningsinstitut”) som skall ”forska” på allt detta, samt avser att också skapa ett svenskt utbildningsråd. Han talar dessutom om diverse nya utredningar och nya reformer.

Vi behöver inte mer forskning!

Det enda som behövs är behörig personal med god lön som får arbeta i lugn och ro utan att hotas, trakasseras eller kränkas. Deras arbete med eleverna ska vara i enlighet med traditionella effektiva pedagogiska modeller, med bevisat pedagogiska hjälpmedel, lugn och ro i klassen, koncentration, glädje, entusiasm, undervisning istället för spel och mobilsurfning, uppgifter anpassade till var och ens förmåga, och krav på lärare och elever i förhållande till framtida ansvarsnivåer. (I den offentliga debatt som varit hörde eller läste jag dock ingenstans att man ska satsa nytt på själva skolan, lärarna, utbildningen eller de ofta usla skollokalerna samt den salmonella-smittade skolmaten utan dessa lämnas utan åtgärd. Låter som något ur en Hasse å Tage-revy, eller hur!)
Peter Kadhammar på Aftonbladet konstaterar i sin utmärkta kolumn från den 17/1 2014 att ”I kunskapssamhället har läsförmågan gått förlorad”. Som jag många gånger har påpekat har detta skett trots (!) de enorma mängder av elektroniska prylar som införts och numera används i våra svenska skolor. Alla iPads, WiFi, ”surfa på websidor”, dataspel, laptops, textmeddelanden som sänds under lektionstid, smarta telefoner, etc., verkar alltså inte ha gjort sitt förmodat pedagogiska jobb?
Det räcker nu. Det behövs lugn och ro i klassrummet. Lägg bort läsplattan och mobilen och porta skolpolitiker som vill satsa pengar på obevisat pedagogiska prylar som dessutom troligen är rent hälsofarliga.

Students and teachers reported more frequently abnormal fatigue in their working environment, and you can currently not dismiss suspicions that exposure from wireless networks can play a role in this. Scientists Buchner & Eger in Germany measured levels of stress hormones in 60 residents in an area before mounted in a base station.
