AT&T has a policy named "2020" that states AT&T will phase out their copper networks or legacy systems, commonly known as a landline telephone, in 2020. Seniors, those with an EMF disability and those customers recognizing the need for a landline telephone in an emergency power outage want the continuation of the landline network.

Especially with the growing number of people who are sensitive to microwave radiation and the growing number of scientists that state EMF poses a threat to Earth's biological genome and a growing epidemic of cancer, the landline telephone must continue. The FCC's proposal to have each purchased cell phone come with an 8-24 hour battery, so that cell phones can work during a short power outage, does not address longer power outages, the safety of cell phones nor the need for democratic choice.

Frontier has submitted an application for the acquisition of Verizon's landline network that will be voted on by the end of 2015. We wholeheartedly support the approval of this acquisition, with the following conditions:

Frontier will properly maintain the copper network to provide reliable landline service.
Their rates will be comparable to existing landline and cell phone service.
Lifeline low rates will be available to qualified low-income individuals.

Captured Agency: How the Federal Communications Commission Is Dominated by the Industries It Presumably Regulates by Norm Alster, published recently by Harvard University’s Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics, supports the contention of EMF Scientists (www.EMFscientist.org) that the serious health risks of wireless technology are being ignored by regulators and standard setting bodies. Captured Agency exposes that people naive enough to believe that the FCC is rigorously regulating the wireless industry to protect their health and safety have seriously misplaced their trust. The fact that the FCC Chairman is Tom Wheeler, a man who formerly headed the wireless industry lobby group (CTIA) and was largely responsible for passage of the 1996 Telecommunications Act, should make everyone very concerned. The 1996 Telecommunications Act prevents local communities from protecting public health and safety. Try to even mention health or safety at a cell/WiFi antenna permitting hearing and you may find yourself evicted from the meeting. This is because if the telecommunications industry has any reason to think that health or safety were considered in an unfavorable decision, they could and likely would sue the local authority.

Captured Agency exposes the evidence that technology has not been shown to benefit education. In fact, independent studies show it can be detrimental. One expert (formerly in the industry) says “The value of technology has been over-hyped and over-sold.” However, the FCC continues to promote it and wireless in schools anyway, in spite of the health risks, due to industry influence. School board members owe it to the children they serve to read this book.

There are steps that local officials can take to protect public health. One is to use only non-wireless technology in public buildings and public spaces, including schools and libraries. Local officials could also educate the public about the fact that radiation from wireless technology has been classified by IARC as a Class 2B carcinogen and urge a precautionary approach: minimize use of wireless technology to emergencies. Local officials could raise awareness that pregnant women should to minimize their exposure to radiation from wireless technology during pregnancy in order to protect their baby’s health (www.babysafeproject.org).

An ounce of prevention is definitely worth a pound cure when it comes to radiation from wireless technology. Rates of autism and ADD/ADHD which have been linked to exposure to radiation from wireless technology are rising - quickly. I have seen numerous obituaries of people, some quite young, who have died after courageous battles with cancer. Radiation from wireless technologies has been linked to brain tumors, breast cancer, leukemia, lymphoma, testicular cancer, and others.

That's a term that comes up time and time again with the FCC. Captured agencies are essentially controlled by the industries they are supposed to regulate. A detailed look a FCC actions - and non-actions - shows that over the years the FCC has granted the wireless industry pretty much what it has wanted. Until very recently it has also granted cable what it wants. More broadly, the FCC has again and again echoed the lobbying points of major technology interests . . .

. . . But direct lobbying by industry is just one of many worms in a rotting apple. The FCC sits at the core of a network that has allowed powerful moneyed interests with limitless access a variety of ways to shape its policies, often at the expense of fundamental public interests . . .

. . . with overwhelming application of money and influence, information and communications technologies have almost totally escaped political scrutiny, regulatory control, and legal discipline . . .

. . . Should the Internet have been allowed to develop into an ultra-efficient tool for lifting personal information that includes financial records, health histories and social security numbers? Holistic cancer doctor Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez has passed away suddenly, patients and friends mourn this tragic event

(NaturalHealth365) Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez has apparently died of a sudden heart attack on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Of course, with all the ‘strange’ events going on lately with other holistic doctors, there is much speculation about whether there was foul play. But, for now, that would be premature and we can not say that with any certainty.

As reported by his office, “It is with great sadness that the office of Nicholas J. Gonzalez, M.D. relays news of his untimely death on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. The cause of death was cardiac related, it appears, as he suddenly collapsed and was unable to be revived. Dr. Gonzalez was in excellent health otherwise so his passing is quite unexpected.”

Holistic cancer doctor will be missed by millions of people worldwide

Words can’t express the tremendous influence Dr. Gonzalez had within the alternative medical world. As a tireless health advocate, his medical practice was a fine example of his care for humanity. In addition to his successful medical practice, Dr. Gonzalez authored the book, What Went Wrong: The Truth Behind the Clinical Trial of the Enzyme Treatment of Cancer, wrote extensively for NaturalHeatlh365 and many other natural health websites and was a frequent contributor to the NaturalHealth365 INNER CIRCLE.

When he died – he was alone. His body was found some time after he died.
As of now, there has been no autopsy report. We do not know if an autopsy has been requested.
Everyone that knew Dr. Gonzalez is SHOCKED – and many of his friends are left with lots of questions about his death.

I considered Dr. Gonzalez a friend and will be forever grateful for his work and love for humanity. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends. This is truly a sad day for me.

Dr. Gonzalez – thank you so much for your contributions to society and your friendship. Rest in peace.

New wireless technology to medicate the population

(NaturalHealth365) Americans have a multi-billion dollar drug problem, and it is completely legal. In fact, the biggest drug problem in the U.S. is not illicit drugs, but rather one that is both supported and financed by our country’s biggest companies and leaders – our overwhelming dependence on prescription medications. Unfortunately, America’s prescription drug epidemic is only expected to grow larger, and big pharma could not be happier about it.

Over the past two decades, pharmaceutical companies have been highly successful increasing the American reliance on prescription drugs. One company, however, has focused less on drug development and more on accessibility. Its new product – microchip drug delivery – takes advantage of wireless technology to provide automatic drug administration, essentially making it easier to mindlessly drug the population than it ever has been before.

Can you imagine wireless technology delivering drugs to the population?

Microchips Biotech claims that its product is the “convergence of drug delivery and electronic technologies” and is designed to help doctors keep up with their patients’ health in real time. Medical microchips can be inserted into a patient’s arm, abdomen or buttocks during a routine office visit. Each microchip contains hundreds of reservoirs, each of which can hold a milligram of medication. When activated, the reservoirs release medication automatically with the help of internal sensors.

Big pharma stands to profit from microchip drug administration

Obviously, the applications for this type of technology are endless, and that has big pharma seeing dollar signs. Microchips Biotech is now partnering with other companies and organizations to make this technology more mainstream.

Just recently, the company announced a $35 million partnership with Israeli pharmaceutical company, Teva. It also hired a new CEO, who has made it her mission to utilize microchips for birth control purposes in the U.S. and around the world.

Now that big pharma is essentially ‘putting the pharmacy inside of us’, there is no doubt this type of technology will be passed off as beneficial and even revolutionary for patients. After all, Americans medicate themselves more than any other developed country in the world. According to 2013 research from the Mayo Clinic, more than 70 percent of all Americans take at least one prescription drug and 20 percent take five or more.

Medications run the gamut from birth control and antidepressants to pain killers and medicines used to manage chronic conditions, such as heart disease and diabetes. Microchips Biotech has already confirmed plans to explore applications of its technology for many of these medications, implying that they have only scratched the surface in their plans to keep the population drug-dependent.

Am I crazy or are we better off without big pharma?

If these drugs work so well and are so accessible, it would only make sense that the country with the greatest prescription drug consumption would also have the longest life expectancy on Earth. Yet the Central Intelligence Agency does not even rank the U.S. among the top 20 nations for longevity. In fact, the U.S. comes in at number 42 – just barely edging out countries like Kuwait, Cuba and Chile.

The truth is, we are not any healthier than countries that are less dependent on medications – we are sicker.

The key to health and longevity cannot be found in a test tube or clinical trial. Contrary to what western medicine would have us believe, there are no short cuts to better health. We, as concerned citizens, need to wake up to the colossal schemes of money-hungry companies and shady government organizations – before it’s too late.

Description of the Problem
The most common source of elevated magnetic field readings (high EMF) in homes is electrical current on a water pipe. This is more accurately described as neutral current diversion into a metallic plumbing and grounding system, also referred to as plumbing current, or ground current. Small commercial buildings can also exhibit this condition. The situation exists when some of the current that would normally return through the electrical service line feeding the building is instead channeled into the grounding system, where it returns to the transformer by way of alternate paths, including water pipes, the public water main, and neighboring residences. This unbalanced current creates a strong magnetic field with a wide spatial extent. The type of power distribution system used in the U.S., in combination with important National Electrical Code grounding requirements, establish the underlying conditions for this problem to occur. It is more common in communities with moderate to high housing density, especially those served by overhead power distribution lines, but it can occur anywhere.

Problem Resolution
This undesired current flow can be blocked very effectively, and in a manner that is code compliant, by the installation of a dielectric coupler, or insulating coupling, in the water supply line to the building. Several strong cautions are necessary before this work is planned. In some extreme cases, the problem results from a partial failure of the power feed to the building (open neutral), and can represent a potentially serious electrical shock and fire hazard. If intervention is undertaken without an analysis of the nature of the problem, and if the integrity of existing electrical facilities is not verified, extremely hazardous conditions can be created. In addition, a large sum of money will have been spent on an ineffective solution.

Selection of an Electrician
Our advice for finding an electrician to work with us over the phone is to start by asking friends if they have used one with good results. Also, check referral and review sites and avoid anyone who has demonstrated questionable business ethics. From there, narrow your search to the small companies, like a one to three person shop. The personal attention to your problem and the level of craftsmanship are usually much higher. Avoid the large companies with the largest ads, who are likely to just send out the next truck in rotation, and you never know what you will get. Perhaps most important is to select a person who is open to working with you on something a little outside the typical electrical job. They don't need to know anything about EMF problems or electrical current on water pipes. In fact, it is usually best if they don't claim to know these things because they are easier to work with. A good attitude, an open mind, and the ability to work cooperatively with another person is priceless. Prioritize those qualities in your selection process.
The one thing they must have is a good clamp-on ammeter, or amp clamp. Any qualified electrician should have one, and it should have a digital readout with at least 1 decimal place. Here is what to tell the electrician that you need to have done:

Measure current on the incoming service conductors in the panel.

Measure current on the incoming water line.

Measure current on grounding conductors inside the house.

Additional Technical Explanation
Misinformation abounds on the causes and correction of plumbing current problems. Some sources advise driving additional ground rods (does nothing). Others even tell you to disconnect required grounds from the water pipe in the building (dangerous!). Still others say it cannot be fixed, and suggest that you give up on the problem. This is not a mysterious issue. It is understandable, explainable, quantifiable, and in almost all cases, fully correctable. For those who wish a further explanation, the following should be helpful:

Type I plumbing current is described above. It results from current utilization within the building where the analysis takes place. The magnitude of the problem tracks the changing power load as electrical devices switch on and off. When power to the building is turned off, it goes away. Correctable as described above.

Type II plumbing current is also described above. It results from current utilization in another building besides the one under analysis. Power to the building under analysis can be turned off, and the utility meter can even be removed, but the current still flows and the magnetic field is still present. The current magnitude can be seen to vary as electrical devices in another building switch on and off. This problem can occur because of a defective neutral in the service drop to the other building, but this is not always the case. Type I and Type II often exist together in the same building, and can add or subtract. Correctable as described above.

Type III plumbing current exists when primary neutral return current flows over the secondary portion of the neutral system into the building and crosses over into the plumbing system, usually because of a deficiency in the utility distribution system. This is less common and of lower magnitude than Types I and II. It is usually correctable as described above, but if current is flowing into the earth rather than into the water main, a different approach may be required.

Related Issue
Earth Current refers to the flow of primary return current through the earth back to the serving substation. It is not the type of current discussed on this page, but it is accurately referred to as ground current. Primary neutral return current enters the earth at any point where the electrical system neutral is connected to a grounding electrode. This condition is a consequence of the multi-grounded-neutral (MGN) system that is universally used for power distribution in the US. This system evolved early in the history of electrical power use because it offered a number of safety advantages. A fundamental precept of the system is that the earth (which is conductive) functions as a current return pathway to supplement the neutral system, and to handle transitory overvoltages due to lightning or high voltage faults. This is a major route by which primary current returns to the substation. The utility goes to great length to build and maintain a low resistance ground grid at the substation to handle the current. There may be adverse consequences from earth current flow, such as the establishment of earth surface voltage gradients. This is especially true for the dairy farming industry, where it is one component of the stray voltage issue. It also becomes significant in the design of residential environments for electrically sensitive individuals.
