ELECTRO SENSITIVITY

ELECTRO SENSITIVITY

Being able to physically feel different forms of radiation is certainly very exciting.  It is also very humbling, annoying, wonderful, and sometimes frightening and painful.
The range of experiences, sensations, and unexpected occurrences over the years have often left me speechless;
Speechless, because I had no reference point in any language.
I was trying to understand what these sensations meant. Learning the language of energy or Xi is a bit like trying to be consciously aware of all the nuances of green in nature.  What I knew of concepts such as ether, energy, chi, ki, prana etc could only supply words, and they speak little of sensations and physical realty.
Let me begin to explain:
By holding my hands at the correct distance from any object, I feel its charge and affect on me [positive, neutral or negative].
I can best describe it as a change in frequency. This makes the dermis  [skin] react with multiple sensations such as warmth, cold, tingling, pressure, push, pull, numbness, vibrations, pain and pulsing.  The three basic responses [positive, negative, or neutral] are clearly felt in the dermis.
We have always lived with sources of radiation that are animal, vegetable and mineral and can potentially be felt by the majority of people. For some this ability comes naturally. Others discover it through various training in the martial arts, or learning different forms of healing.  Most people need to awaken their “sleeping gene”.
The simple way is to use Magic Patch.

As a hyper sensitive I feel the change in pressure for every light bulb turned on or off in a room.
I feel the radiation from high voltage cables running parallel to the road.
I feel it when I drive under cables.
I feel it when someone is texting.
I feel magnets, batteries, remotes etc.
I feel the wi-fi as static electricity all over my body.
I feel tingling in my head when I’m standing underneath a fluorescent light.
I feel the electro magnetic field that surrounds a cable, and a whole lot more.

Am I a freak or unusual?  Maybe so, but I am sure that I’m not the only one.
I went to a concert with over five thousand people; I loved the music but had a terrible evening.  People’s cell phones were on “quiet” and many were texting. I could feel the electro magnet “buzz” and it made me feel ill.
I feel personally threatened by the amount of 24/7 electro smog.
Don’t ask me if I’m angry.  I can feel, see and measure some of the damage done to all of us in the name of “progress”.

Ex-Model Admits to Suffering from Electrosensitivity

THE BEAUTY OF AGING

 |
“I am extremely sensitive to radio frequencies from cellphones and wireless networks,”

Jolie Jones (57)
It’s a fact that models routinely begin their careers as teenagers. But 12? Before model-cum-actress Brooke Shields hit it big as a tween in the 1980s with her controversial Calvin Klein ads, there was Jolie Jones. Her gorgeous face became sought after by dozens of magazines and fashion houses — all at the tender age of 12. Discovered at a party in New York that she attended with her music mogul father Quincy Jones, the young girl quickly leaped at the chance to model.

Another adjustment came in the form of her sensitivity to EMF (electromagnetic frequencies) and RF (radio frequencies) — meaning she has trouble being around cellphones and electronic devices. The crew was asked to shut down their mobiles while she was onset so she could concentrate.

Jones says she hit her peak in the late ’60s. “When I was 14, it started to really pick up. By 15, I was working all the time.” One of her favourite jobs was a photography shoot called Anatomy of a Model, shot with big cats, including a male lion. “It was a long job, a day or two. But it was so exciting because all [the models'] menstrual cycles had to be co-ordinated because you can’t work with wild cats a week before or a week after your period. There’s one week a month that you can work with them,” she explains. “And I got to work with a tiger, a cheetah and a lion.”
Now 57 and the mother of two grown sons, Jones describes the aging process as interesting. “I’m really into that aging thing and trying to be graceful about it.” For her, that means consistently exercising and eating right, avoiding things like alcohol, sugar and white flour. Still, she admits, “When you’re used to feeling like you look perfect all the time without any work, then it’s an adjustment when you get older.”
“I am extremely sensitive to radio frequencies from cellphones and wireless networks,” she explains, citing high levels of heavy metals in her system caused by eating too much tuna. She says in its early stages, the condition made her feel in a heavy fog. “Like a heavy, thick cloud entered my brain from the temples and being totally disoriented,” she explains. “It was painful in fact. My joints would tingle and ache. Also, at times, I would get palpitations in my chest and I was very drained.” She points out that even when phones are on silent or vibrate, they are still emitting RF waves; in areas with poor reception, the devices blast RF waves, trying even harder to find a signal. She is in the process of writing a book on her condition and says, “Most brain surgeons when pressed will admit that the rise of tumours in young people is a direct result of phones up against the ear.” She is convinced that these frequencies with which we are bombarded will be discovered to be as dangerous to our health as asbestos and cigarette smoke was years ago.
To combat her condition and to allow her spiritual side to flourish, Jones lives in Vermont alongside her dogs and horses. Jones also uses medical grade essential oils and is in the process of developing a skincare line called Joie de Jolie. This simpler lifestyle makes her trips to Los Angeles a bit jarring. “I came here from eight months in Vermont, being with my horses every day. We’re supposed to be living around trees and nature,” she says. “That universal life force is what makes us happy and clear and calm and healthy and adjusted.” Shirt, Lafayette 148, $225

Influence of Electromagnetic Radiation Produced by Mobile Phone on Some Biophysical Blood Properties in Rats

Abstract

Effects of electromagnetic radiation produced by mobile phone on blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, hemolysis, Osmotic fragility, and blood components of rats have been investigated. Experimental results show that there are significant change on blood components and its viscosity which affects on a blood circulation due to many body problems. Red blood cells, White blood cells, and Platelets are broken after exposure to electromagnetic radiation produced by mobile phone. Also blood viscosity and plasma viscosity values are increased but Osmotic fragility value decreased after exposure to electromagnetic radiation produced by mobile phone.

Human DNA can be Damaged by Mobile Radiation

Human DNA can be Damaged by Mobile Radiation

Mobile phones are widely used by all sections of the society. Although we often come to read+News regarding the +Ill-effects of mobile and tower +Radiation and even radiations causing+Mutation of +Genes we are unable to get rid of it or minimize its use. Reports also say that+Mobile-phone radiations are highly dangerous for new born infants. Studies have reported about abnormal +Gene-transcription , +Geno-toxicity and single and double strand +Dnadamage.

Yale School of Medicine conducted a study which says that radiation exposure during +Pregnancy affects +Foetal-braindevelopment and can also cause +Hyperactivity among newborn children. Dr. Joy Thomas, chief +Cardiologist , Global Health City in an +Interview said, " I recently went through a U.K study about higher +Gliosis formation in the +Brain due to high usage of mobile phones. Gliosis is the +Pathological process by which +Nerve-fibre is replaced by +Fibrous-Tissue . Though there is no proof between use of +Cellphone and various pathological condition, it's only an association. It's better to limit the time of mobile usage."

Dr. R. Narendran, +ENT +Specialist , +Apollo-Hospitals said that "Though there are various reports about radiation, we personally see how +Patients approach us with severe ear pain and +Giddiness after using cellphones for hours together. It's always better to use the +Landline-phone . One has to limit the conversation and not use the phone for more than two minutes. Also, it's advisable to use +Speaker-phone or +Hands-free mobile phones"

I am quite apprehensive after reading the reports of the study and what doctors have said. I am so much dependent on my cellphone and laptop that I can't just think of detaching myself from the two. They are absolutely indispensable in my life but I have promised myself that I will minimize my usage of mobile phone gradually as my health is my first priority. What about you? It's time you think fast and act smart as health is wealth.

Is there a way to use your SIM card without radiation and still enjoy unhindered mobility? Yes, says the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), highlighting the facility that is not yet popular among the masses.
Faced with dwindling number of new landline connection-seekers and surrender of existing ones, the BSNL has perhaps found a real alternative to the problem in the Fixed Wireless Phone (FWP) with a cellular slot.
The product is a mix of a landline and a mobile phone. It is as simple as using a landline phone wherein we dial from a larger numeric pad, speak/hear using a receiver. Technology-wise, it is GSM-based and a SIM card has to be inserted in the slot meant for it.
“This way, one can convert the existing mobile number to a FWL phone, enjoy all the benefits associated with mobile tariff plans and talk as long as required without attracting the ill-effects of radiation,” says M. Ravi Babu, General Manager of BSNL’s Tirupati Telecom District at a media conference here on Saturday.
Priced at Rs.1,000, the product comes with a free talk-time of 125 minutes per month, which in other words means the handset can be owned in ten months.
What more, the phone, though bulky, can be carried anywhere like a mobile. With underground cables getting snapped more frequently due to widening of roads, drains and culverts, causing dislocation of services, the Nigam is focusing more on wireless technology to reach out to its customers.

Radiation row

Radiation row

A petition filed recently in the Delhi High Court seeking the removal of mobile phone towers from the vicinity of schools, colleges and residential localities has highlighted the lack of adequate regulatory mechanisms to deal with hazardous radiation. The writ petition, filed by Sriniwas Sharma, a resident of Pitampura, points out that the towers emit harmful radiation. Sharma’s family was allegedly affected by radiation emitted from one such tower; his elder son died of cancer in 2012. The High Court issued notices to the Union of India and the Delhi government on March 8 on the matter.
Vikas Nagwan, the advocate representing Sharma, highlighted the lack of a coherent policy to check emissions from radiation towers. He said: “We filed RTI [Right to Information] applications before different government departments asking about the policy on installation of mobile towers in residential localities. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, in reply to the RTI application, informed us that TRAI has not issued any guidelines regarding the erection of mobile towers in residential areas. We have not received replies yet from other government departments.”
A number of studies illustrate the harmful effects of mobile phone tower radiation. A study titled “Report on Cell Phone Tower Radiation Hazards” by Sujoy K. Guha and Sudarshan Neogi of IIT Kharagpur states: “The base stations are connected to directional antennas that are mounted on the roofs of buildings [RTT, or Roof Top Tower, and RTP, or Roof Top Pole] or on ground based towers (GBT). The antennas may have electrical or mechanical down-tilt so that the signals are directed towards ground level. Large numbers of these towers are mounted near schools, hospitals, residential and office buildings to provide good mobile phone coverage to the users. These cell towers transmit radiation 24×7, so people living within 100s of metres from the tower will receive 10,000 to 10,000,000 times stronger signal than required for mobile.”
The Rajasthan High Court, while deciding a PIL petition in August 2012, had cited an inter-ministerial report that details a number of studies on the adverse effects of mobile radiation on health. Also, in several significant judgments the Supreme Court has extended the constitutional right to life to include the right to a healthy environment, including in “M.C. Mehta vs Kamal Nath” in 1997. However, the government is yet to formulate concrete measures to address this serious public health concern.

Are Smartphone Apps for Our Heart a Smart Idea?

Are Smartphone Apps for Our Heart a Smart Idea?

by Dr. Stephen Sinatra
Last Reviewed 04/22/2013
Lately, I’ve been reading a lot about some of the latest smartphone apps. In fact, a recent issue of AARP The Magazine reviewed these apps, listing their top six picks for monitoring your heart.
Five of these smart-looking apps enable you to track vital signs, such as your heart rate and blood pressure readings. Others monitor weight, sleep and activity levels, blood work results, and exercise work outs that you can share with your MD. One app even manages your prescriptions, including reminding you to take them.
What do I think of these apps? They seem like handy items as long as the consumer remembers that we don't know if Wi-Fi exposure can provoke the heart.  So far, we have evidence that the radiation frequencies (RF) from cordless phones can provoke cardiac arrhythmias and even represent a new risk factor in cardiology.
So, here are my caveats for these smartphone apps:
  • Use them, and other apps you have such as games—only when your phone is in “airplane mode,” so your heart is not exposed to WiFi.
  • Keep that WiFi off except to download the app, and transmit the information.
  • If a USB cable connection to your main computer is an option, then that is the safest way to transfer the data collected on your smart phone to your computer to print out, or to email to your healthcare provider.
  • Never carry your smartphone on your body: remember that women carrying cell phones in their bras developed precancerous nodes in the rectangular shape of the device.
Now it’s your turn: Have you used these types of apps on your phone?
