THE PRESENTATION
What do cellphones, wireless internet, portable home phones, cellphone towers, so-called “smart” electrical meters and “smart” home appliances, and the new compact fluorescent light bulbs have in common? (see images of these devices, at the end of this post)
They all emit radio frequencies (RF); they are all around us; and they may be thwarting our health in profound ways not commonly known by the public.
With the proliferation of these devices and our increasing exposure to RF, more people are feeling stressed and have headaches, fatigue, and low energy, symptoms often associated with chronic radiation sickness. Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity Syndrome is a health problem that impacts an estimated 35% of the population, with 3% severely affected.
Harry, a physicist, and Beverly, a biophysicist, will bring their RF and other field meters to demonstrate our exposure to these fields, and explain the health consequences and different strategies for dealing with this problem in our lives. While there is currently no practical way to eliminate these detrimental fields from our modern lives, there are ways to significantly reduce one’s exposure, quite often by making simple, informed choices.

ABOUT BEVERLY: (about Harry, below)
Beverly Rubik earned her Ph.D. in biophysics in 1979 at the University of California at Berkeley. She is internationally renowned for her pioneering work in frontier science and medicine. Her main area of focus is research on the subtle energetics of living systems, including the human energy field, energy medicine devices, and whole-person health and healing. She has published over 80 papers and 2 books. Dr. Rubik presently serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Alternative & Complementary Medicine; Evidence-Based Integrative Medicine; Integrative Medicine Insights; and the new Journal of Vortex Science and Technology.
Dr. Rubik was one of 18 U.S. Congressionally-appointed members of the Program Advisory Board to the Office of Alternative Medicine at the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) from 1992-1997, and chaired the NIH panels on bioelectromagnetic medicine and energy healing. This was the precursory organization that launched the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
In 1996, Dr. Rubik founded the Institute for Frontier Science (IFS), a nonprofit corporation for research and education. Laurance S. Rockefeller, Sr., helped support the founding of the IFS. In 2002, IFS was awarded an NIH center grant for frontier medicine research on biofield science in consortium with researchers at the University of Arizona. Dr. Rubik was a project director in this consortium and conducted studies on Reiki, a form of Japanese spiritual healing, and on qigong therapy, a healing practice that originated in China.
More recently, Dr. Rubik has published original research studies on brainwaves and bliss; and subtle energies and water in relation to healing. Presently she is conducting research on biophoton emission from humans in healing states, as well as studying more about the properties of water in relation to life and subtle energies.
She is a faculty member at several universities, teaching in integral health studies and energy medicine. Beverly Rubik has won several awards for her research, including the Alyce and Elmer Green Award for her pioneering science, awarded to her in 2009 by the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine, and the Integrity in Science Award by the Weston A. Price Foundation. She has been interviewed on various television programs, including the most popular morning program in the US, “Good Morning America” (ABC-TV), where she presented her research on the human biofield. She serves as a consultant in the health care industry on maverick health and wellness products and as an integrative health advisor to clients.
ABOUT HARRY JABS
Harry Jabs, M.S., Dipl.-Phys.
Harry Jabs is formally educated with two masters degrees in experimental physics, one from the University of Hamburg, Germany (X-ray and crystallography), and one from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas (nuclear). Currently he works as Senior Scientist/Engineer with Dr. Beverly Rubik of the Institute for Frontier Science, nonprofit laboratory in Emeryville, California.
Harry is an experienced multidisciplinary scientist with a track record of invention and innovation in the fields of physics, chemistry, biochemistry, electronics, mechanics, micromechanics, material science and computer science. He has led interdisciplinary science teams to invent and use novel technology breakthroughs to solve complex real-world problems in diverse areas such as energy, nano/bio-technology, instrumentation, sensors systems, fluid handling as well as software development.
As recent examples, he invented a field effect transistor-based biosensor system with surface derivatization for highly selective antibody detection, developed surface chemistry and wrote grant proposals. He prototyped and developed solar-concentrating photovoltaics; portable breath sound monitor in cell phone package; electronic noses (conductive polymers, metal oxides); hydrocarbon fuel reformer with plasmatron; electrochemical water purifier; pyrolysis mass spectrometer; physical and chemical detector systems; microfluidic ion analyzer; water sterilization with microwaves; bioreactors; endoscope sterilizer; wireless bone conduction hearing aid; X-ray crystal monochromator; nuclear particle detectors. Recently Harry developed a medical implant from concept to implantable prototype to be used in an animal study. Its purpose was to demonstrate the superiority of chanrging the implant battery with ultrasound instead of electromagnetic coupling. The work involved desinging and machining all (bio-compatible) parts, designing, building and testing the microcontroller circuitry with wireless RF link to a base station and the development of the microcontroller firmware as well as development of the graphical user interface application. He researched electric, magnetic and quantum field effects on living organisms, including biophotons and healing at a distance as well as effects of EMF and ELF radiation on humans. Harry also conducted cold fusion experiments at Texas A&M University.
Harry holds three patents, eight disclosures of inventions and two NASA Certificates of Recognition. He developed 21 product concepts in areas of sensors, automotive engineering, long-duration space travel, nuclear cancer therapy, X-ray generation, household appliances, solar and wind energy harnessing, water treatment, drug delivery, and micro-fluidics. He authored over 40 research and development proposals and contracts to government agencies as well as private entities. He has 16 professional publications in peer-reviewed scientific literature, trade journals and industry papers.
In the pursuit of his goals of gaining a deeper understanding of our multi-dimensional universe he considers concepts and processes that may go beyond the paradigm of currently accepted science and technology. He is open to entirely new concepts that reflect consciousness interactions with living and material objects, an area that natural science so far has not been able to characterize. “Just because we have not discovered it yet, does not mean it does not exist” could be his motto. Harry is intrigued with the theory of the electric universe and he is a vocal advocate of Maxwell’s theory of electromagnetism in its original, complete form of 1865.
